Ship It - Different hands to be discussed

http://www.pokerhand.org/?5106267

Villain is unknown and it was like the 3rd hand in the match where I opened my button. "Hitting the nutz" my intention was to see if I can check raise villain as he seemed to be moderately aggressive. His huge overbet makes no chance and a raise commits me anyways, so I shove.

Better lines? Easy fold? What do you do in spots like that?

I think that this hand

I think that this hand plays out a lot easier if you cbet instead of checking.

Consider this: The flop

Consider this: The flop hits his limping range A LOT harder than your 3betting range.

I agree that you're more credible if you cbet the flop, and the hand is def easier to play. Having said that, if I were villain, I'd call you with any pair, and any draw. The flop hits the average limping range very hard. If he doesn't have a pair, it's very likely he has a draw.

After you check the flop, the only hand you're represening is very strong made pair you slowplayed on the flop, or Qx. Given that there's only 3 Qs left, and the likelihood of you having a strong pair (TT+) isn't that great, his call isn't bad imo.

I think that the range that

I think that the range that people have for raising limps tends to be a lot wider than the range for 3betting. Even if you do get called on the flop, you are going to be 50% to beat him by the river and a big portion of the deck where you miss is going to be scare cards for him anyways. Even if I think I'm getting flat called light on this flop I'm still more than content with multibarreling our hand.
