Second pair vs getting barreled

Against a regular player, not to many reads over 100 hands but I know he is opening wide (75%) and barreling wide so far.

What can you say about my play here? What about if he jams the river?

preflop was fine i would have

preflop was fine

i would have check raised on the flop for information and to try take it down right there

weak regs often bet 30 as a bluff cbet (so they lose less when they get raised) it still could be for value but with the run out by the river the board is just so ugly for your hand you have to fold on river to a reg

i´m not so sure about raising the flop. calling already looks pretty strong, even with a small sizing. it´s really hard to continue barreling here without a hand. his cbet is already pretty polar. Villain will often check back the flop with a medium strength hand anyway. we shouldn´t be afraid of villain catching something on the turn, because it will mostly be an underpair to the T anyway. i don´t really see the reason to gather information. he will give up all his weak hands that are drawing close to dead vs us and he will get his good equity hands in, or he might just call us, which leaves us in an awkward spot on the turn. medium strength hands that can´t stand a check raise (like K4, T9, any pocket pair that didn´t make a set, etc.) will check back. i think he played the hand just fine every street. the runout is horrible and we have to lay it down here, i completely agree.

cheers
