Profitable HU playing on Bwin?

Hi,

I'm new to HUSNGs (successfully played 6max/Full Ring before and decited to try something differnet :) ) and currently playing the 30$ HUs on bwin, with a full 10% rake. Perhaps I'm too ambitious and should just change the pokerside, but I'm wondering wheater or not it is even possible to be a big winner at these games. I played around 500 games so far, winning 56% of them and I'm actually down about 300$ cause I payed about 1500$ rake... I'm keeping myself alive and making money just because of the bonus programm at the moment. Has anybody experience in playing on bwin with success? Should I just blame the rake for my losses or is a 56% winning rate not a good result for 33$ HUs?

Bwin

56% is OK, especially if you play turbos. However, at this level on the Ongame Network (Bwin is a skin of Ongame) it's possbile to win more.
But I think its more important for you is just seat and calculate how much you lose with extra 5% rake, and how much you can get back with the bonuses. And then compare with other sites. There are so many poker sites, take a time to search over them and possibly you will find new place for play.
In the "articles" section RyPac posted a good review of many poker sites.

Hi, thanks for the answer.

Hi, thanks for the answer.
I just calculated that I get back 1,98$ for 3$ rake.
With about 66% rakeback, it might be profitable to stay there. I'd like to play on FullTilt, but unfortunately I signed up there a long time ago without any rakeback offers. I think I will deposit a roll on Tilt, just to compare the skill level of the opponents and the different blind structure. I will reread that article for sure.
