HU hyper turbo tourneys on stars

Hello I wanted to ask what is the best strat to play these tourneys? If you don't know the structure here it is: 1) You start with 1000 chips, starting blinds 50/100 with 20 chip antie, blinds go up every 2 minutes, buy in 10$+0.2$ 2) You start with 1000 chips, starting blinds 50/100 no anties, blinds go up every 2 minutes, buy in 5$+0.1$ Up untill now I've been using push fold strat using nash chart and I was wondering if this is the best strat for this type of HU tourney structure or maby you would advise me to use some sort of dif strat?

How many of these have you

How many of these have you played?I think that having a mixed strategy from 8 or 9bbs to 10bbs might add some edge in these for you versus playing shove or fold entirely, but below 8bb playing shove or fold would be ideal. Shoving a little looser than nash sb and calling a little tighter will probably become your default, but the best thing to do is play a few thousand games and have a solid database (pokertracker 4 is coming out soon and looks excellent from what I've seen) and really take a look at what your average opponent is doing at all stack levels.Once you do that, you can have a more accurate strategy. And of course, when you pick up on extreme tendencies (this will be much less common than in traditional hyper turbos), adjust your strategy to maximally exploit them.

yeah that's what I'm doing

yeah that's what I'm doing atm playing little stratigecly 8-10BB but when I get lower than 8 I start shoving :) works quite well since I get it in good most of the time.

Is it really necessary to

Is it really necessary to have 2 topics from the same user, for the same question, once in public and once in closed forums?http://www.husng.com/content/hu-hyper-turbo-tourneys-stars

Hi.

Well he's a newer user and we don't exactly put the resources of this site into the navigation of the forums, or in building rules, so I can see how one in each might have some appeal to a newer user. In any case, no harm done. The member forums really exist in case anybody wants to ask a more closed door question/expose less of their questions to the public. There's also a benefit that hasn't fully been realized, but if the forums ever overwhelm the coaches here, the member forums will get priority for answers.

That is kinda hard to

That is kinda hard to believe, since we have threads that were not answered for over a month and still are not.For example: http://www.husng.com/content/i%C2%B4m-biggest-fish-living-land-help-needed

I've posted on both forums

I've posted on both forums because I figured that I will get an answer faster on member forums :)

haha barrin, you use an

haha barrin, you use an example of the single thread that is probably not replied to in the last few months here! The OP replied to himself right away, so I'm guessing that's why I overlooked it (seeing reply as 1 instead of 0 in the thread probably threw me off there). The only other thread I see not replied to is a request for an elite study buddy from JTS.

That is the way it goes in HeadsUP? You do everything to find the one f*cking single leak! haha ;-)
