flush draw early in match at $11

No Limit Holdem Tournament • 2 Players Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter BTNmangemoelcul11455 BBHero1545  Effective Stacks: 49bb Blinds 15/30 Pre-Flop (45, 2 players) Hero is BB mangemoelcul1 calls 15, Hero checks Flop (60, 2 players) Hero bets 60, mangemoelcul1 calls 60 Turn (180, 2 players) Hero bets 150, mangemoelcul1 calls 150 River (480, 2 players) Hero checks, mangemoelcul1 checks This hand went down early in the match. The guy had raised from the small blind early on and folded his small blind once. He folded to my small blind opens thus far. I don't think I had seen him limp yet. I put him on mostly low connectors/suited connectors and crappy Jx, Qx type of hands that he didn't want to raise, using my very limited information. Is my line standard here or do you guys shut down on the turn and try play a small pot after called? I guess I'm betting again to try build a pot in case I hit and possibly to fold out a 67 or 8 type of hand.

I think this flop is a nice

I think this flop is a nice situation for a check-raise.  Although early I am assuming you have no reads there's a decent chance he has no A since he didnt raise pre, and your 4 high doesn't have a lot of showdown value, if you check raise you have a chance of winning out right but by check calling you're really relying on hitting your flush - what is your plan if a non-heart that doesn't pair you hits the turn?As played you should c/c the turn I really hate leading out here and so large, you have reasonable showdown value now and want to get there as cheaply as possible, and give yourself a chance of seeing a free river which may complete your flush.

I actually led the flop and

I actually led the flop and didn't c/c. I like your idea of a check raise though. Most players would probably stab here with some air. I get an extra bet out of that. If they give me a free card on the flop that's fine too!
