About EV and Winning lines

Hey!

Well, since I have started to play more agressive on the 30$ I have noted that my EV line is going even (not growing really) and my winnings line going up, and I think it is because I steal a lot more pots and Im not trying to get it in good, you know for example against a guy who is calling open shoves tight, I push the hole nash range or even more, and ocassionally I get called and obv more often than not Im behind, but still its a profitble move because of his weakness against pushes.

So here is my question, do I have to be worried about this or it is normal as I explained?

Thanks so much and sorry for my bad english (spanish guy here!)

The only difference between

The only difference between your equity adjusted line and your raw results is the equity adjusted line is adjusted for your equity in all in pots.

In the case you gave where you are open shoving, the only deviation in the lines will be for those situations where villain calls.

If villain is tight and you are jamming wide, he will obviously have an equity edge the times you get called.

Your results line will go in the direction of who won the pot, by the magnitude of the pot.

Your equity adjusted line change (usually go down vs tight villain), by the difference in your equities multiplied by the size of the pot (because this is the amount you will net on average in this particular HvH showdown adjusted for your equities at the time you went all in).

You only need to be worried if the amount you are losing the times you are called is worth more than your fold equity => that is, you are making -EV shoves.

But your graphs will not help you determine this over a small sample because they just show your results.

I think there is a misconception about what equity adjusted graphs show because of confusion around "EV line" terminology.

The EV of a decision should consider your entire range vs villain's entire range in a spot.

An equity adjusted graph does not show the EV of your decision.

However both your results line and equity adjusted line will converge with your theoretical EV as your sample size approaches infinite.

Hey thank you very much for

Hey thank you very much for posting reply, Im absolutely agree with you, specially with the lasts points.

Ok so now I assume it is possible for some winning player to have a graph with the EV line over 0 or so, and the winnings line on the std 4% roi, right?

Hello, when I put my key, and appears a start and I can not change, this is my key Product ID D9AA-6C30-93A3-9985-859D-2896-B3DE-4CF3. What can I do?

I'm not exactly sure what you

I'm not exactly sure what you mean.

If you're a winning player over a large sample your equity adjusted line will not be zero.

For example if you have a 4% ROI, as your sample size approaches infinite, your winnings and your equity adjusted winnings will both converge to 0.04 * n where n is the sample of games played.
