A5o OOP hand 6.

Hi, Happy New Year to All.

Havent posted in a while and should get my shiz sorted, so here we are asking questions where I have doubt.

Maybe an easy one but I just found myself hovering over the call/all in buttons..

Low Stakes / Hand 5 / A5o Out of pos facing min raise from new villain who limp jamed over 3bet hand 2.

Q. What is the best expectation for A5o in the situation ? Unless I hit the flop super good my expectation by jamming is better... correct ?

Wishing you all God mode.

Peace.

I'm guessing you're about

I'm guessing you're about 20BB deep?
Typically flatting and 3b jamming will be close in expectation at this depth with A5o.

You have seen him limp and jam over 3x before, suggesting that he may be limping to trap with his bigger hands.
Assuming he is playing a static strategy (pretty fair assumption for low stakes), we expect he will probably continue to limp to trap with his big hands.
If he is limping to trap with his strong hands, then his minraising range has been conditionally weakened, decreasing the probability that you run into a dominating Ax and therefore increasing your expectation of 3b jamming.

I would 3b jam.

Hi Cdon,

Thanks for the help !
Yes approx 20bb deep.
Found your static strat comment interesting, reminds me to keep adjusting my own plays and not be so fixed.
But defo this A5-A7o range I'm always hesitant before jamming.
Will see if I can get some numbers out of icimizer and improve my confidence there.
GL !!!

Go forth and CRUSH !
