So I shoved, he folded then showed me his ten.1. Should I have bet smaller?2. Would you have folded/Is villain correct to fold in this situation?3. He obviously takes pride in his folding ability so what notes would you take about how to exploit him in the future? Would be interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance!
I would donkflop, but believe this is good also. Turn fine, river I bet small between 60-90 to let him call with 10x or worse
this is just bad luck, most people at 7s can't get away from Tx so I think jamming river is fine since he should have quite a bit of Tx in his range. flop is ok, most hands with decent equity against us will bet anyway. in future, vs this player I'd keep in mind that he can make big laydowns, so I'd try to look for good opportunities to 2-3 barrel on boards like K649T or 73382. if he starts calling you down with weak pairs in those spots, he'll probably be a reg who understands range-based thinking so take note of that
Thanks for your thoughts guys!
