$500 Hyper turbo, good call?

No Limit Holdem Tournament • 2 Players • PokerStars Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter BTNHero450  BBPlayer2550  Effective Stacks: 23bb Blinds 10/20 Pre-Flop (30, 2 players) Hero is BTN Hero raises to 40, Player2 calls 20 Flop (80, 2 players) Player2 checks, Hero bets 40, Player2 calls 40 Turn (160, 2 players) Player2 checks, Hero bets 100, Player2 goes all-in 470, Hero calls 270 River (1000, 2 players, 1 all-in) Final Pot: 1000 Hero shows Player2 shows Player2 wins 1000 ( won +450 ) Hero lost -450    I played at $500 vs ChucknorrisQ. I had a King with a medium Kicker, i take open ender out of his range cause he is more likely to shove them on the flop over my Cbet with 57 or 79.Do you see him shoving toppair on the Turn for protection? No cuz it wouldnt make any sense cause he is not likely to get called by a lower pair than his on the flop only K and 8 with a good kicker would call there (so he would be either crushed or loses a lot value). So he either has a king or is shoving a semibluff like a goodshot with a pair or sth. I hesitated to call because my kicker was not that good..what do you think about my thoughts ?

I both expect players to

I both expect players to shove top pair here at times but also to show up with much worse, your bet and call look good to me.That's not to say that calling with KT on the turn can't often be better (vs aggro/bluffy players in particular I'd imagine it has to be quite a bit better to call rather than jam the turn), but reality is that plenty of players will simply check raise their Kx on the turn.

ok

If you have a history then he knows that you kow etc..Standard play from you IMO, you wouldve probably lost the stack anyway in this hand with a call from him on turn. I don;t like his river c/r though. He will miss a lot of value most of the times when you check back flop tp or sp.
