3 bet bluffing ranges

Hi all, new here, Ive started off watching Ryan and PHMERC's videos and I noticed that both suggest 3 bet bluffing a range that is isnt quite strong enough to flat. The differences I noticed so far are that Ryan likes to 3 bet bluff hands like K6off and Q7off while PHMERC suggest hands such as 45s and lower suited connectors. I know both are very good players but am curious is either range better than the other or if it would be best to include parts of both or one over the other. Thanks

The problem with 3 betting

The problem with 3 betting paint + trash is that is that you may run into some serious trouble if you are flatted and you get top pair on the flop. You then have to 3 bet and get away from it postflop, but what good is 3 betting if you have no post play playability when you can 3 bet hands as a bluff, still have the same fold equity, and play well post flop. I think small suited connectors are great to go in your 3 bet bluffing range when stacks get shorter. At 75bb I think the implied odds are too great to 3 bet these and this is when I might 3 bet something I was just going to otherwise fold like K2o. I like 3 betting hands like 45s, 57s, 24s etc that are pretty good hands but the problem is you don't have the implied odds at say 20bb to flat them preflop. If it was 78s+ I think I would prefer flatting since they play well post flop in standard pots. Watch out though since I think people call 3 bet pots too much in which case you really need to adjust to that by 3 betting a wider value range. I like to test out how they respond to 3 bets early on when we are deep and the blinds are small. In such a case I would 3 bet K6o etc. If a K comes on the flop I don't stand to loose a tonne of chips because the stacks are deep enough that I can get away with it and people should be playing more honest if they have no reads on me.
