Strange spot facing c/r in single raised pot @ 16BB: spew call off or marginally correct call ?

Strange hand that I played.

Villain c/r jams on A93 tt in single raised pot @ 16BB.

I don't think he has any Ax in his flatting range @ this depth and I don't think he continues with much 3x preflop.

I think his c/r jamming range is comprised of 9x and FDs.

But mostly FDs because I think 9x would usually just c/c.

I have K high + BD FD.

And figure I usually have the best hand here vs a FD on this board.

So I called off.

I just tried a simulation of a range of:

[KdTd-Kd2d,QdJd-Qd2d,JdTd-Jd2d,Td9d-Td5d,9d8d-9d6d,8d7d,8d6d,7d6d,7d5d,6d5d,5d4d,Kx9x,Kx9y,Qx9x,Qx9y,Jx9x,Jx9y,Tx9y,Tx9x,9x8x-9x6x,9x8y,9x7y]

To try to capture the FDs + 9x likely in villain's OOP flatting range @ this stack size.

My hand has about 25% equity vs it making my call off lolbad.

However if I take the 9x part of the range out and just consider the diamond FDs, villain has a range of:

[KdTd,Kd8d-Kd2d,QdJd,QdTd,Qd8d-Qd2d,JdTd,Jd8d-Jd2d,Td8d-Td5d,8d7d,8d6d,7d6d,7d5d,6d5d,5d4d]

Against which I have about 52% equity.

Which would make my call mandatory being layed 240 / (320 * 2) = 38% pot odds

What do you think about villain's c/r jamming range here typically?

Obviously this particular guy had an interesting way of playing bottom pair and I lucked out on him, but I want to know whether my call here would be ok as standard or not.

That is, I based my call on the deductions:

- preflop villain jams all Ax preflop @ 16BB

- villain has neglible 3x in his preflop calling range

- he would c/c his 9x on this board

- he semibluff c/r jams his FDs at this depth in single raised pot

If these hold, my call off w Khigh seemed reasonable at the time.

What do you think about these assumptions?

I'd keep some Ax in villain's

I'd keep some Ax in villain's range unless you have a great deal of info saying no to that. Maybe add another 54 combo or two. Maybe add a few pure bluffs in there.
It may still be a call, but that's how I'd adjust the range you're facing.
Good thoughts and good recognition that it may be a spot where a call is pretty profitable, even if K hi is usually not a bet/call at these stacks.
