Hello im spanish poker player, my name is Alvaro, im 22 yo, and I have been playing poker for 2 years now. Moved to spins about 10 months ago and didnt play that much. I am a bit dismotivated at the moment so this is why I decided to do this to challenge myself.
My prop bet is to play 20.000 games at 100$ Spins with at least 2.5%EVroi pre-rback in a two month period (equivalent to 61 days). This means that I have to earn at least 80.000$ of EV (rback included). Jackpots won't influence this bet since the EVROI stat that I (and most regs) use is based on chipEV and not actual $.
My challenge was previously posted on twoplustwo but for some strange reason they dont allow me to have it there, so I will move it here. The challenge has already started on March 2cnd at 00.00, so it ends in 1 May at 23:59, totalling 61 days.
There is already almost 100k$ betted against me most of it at 3:1 odds, and some more bets were accepted after challenge started at 3.5:1 because my start was really horrible. I am still selling my last 4000$ at 3.5:1 odds for whoever is interested.

My feelings at the start of the challenge aren't good, and I am not great in volume and behind the EV requirements.

Very, very ballsy bet; the volume goal is unbelievable. Think this may be the toughest Spin challenge I've seen to date tbh. I have no idea whether it's doable but I would probably say the chances are on the lower side, not because of the player's skill level (played limited sample with him but he seems very, very solid) but to put in that many hours over two months is insane.
Good luck to him; haven't bet myself as couldn't call it either way but will be interesting to follow for sure.

Hey guys! My first update is here, currently at day 10 of the challenge. I will try to make a summary of what happened until today.
My start was pretty horrible, first 1k games at -1.7% evROI. I was playing without pokerstars sounds so I couldnt hear the "beep" when timing out because it would bother my flatmate. Also, I was too concentrated on playing way too perfect, and listening to wrong type of music for focus. (first 1k games Graph below)
After 1k games I realized it was impossible to play without the beeping timebank sound, and I started adding special music designed for improving focus, mixed with my favourite music (rap/punk/ect..), since then, everything started improving both my feelings at the tables and results.
At the moment of writing, these are my results so far: (overall graph below)
So things turned around and now I'm in pace for the challenge both in volume and EV so far! Yay me!
The only problem I'm facing right now is that I have some bone health issues (I had various Knee surgeries, back scoliosis, chronic problems in my elbow, and now I'm having some rly intense pain in my right Thumb, which I'm not sure how much it will impair me from grinding). Im starting to consider switching to a normal mouse with my left hand (I usually grind with a Xbox controller and my right thumb is giving me a hard time with that much volume of "clicks").
At the same time while doing my challenge I'm coaching students in my stable (which steals time from my grind but its something I can't and def dont want to stop doing). I hope this challenge will make me improve as a player, I haven't rly ever been a great student and barely worked my game out of the tables, I always improved while playing and thinking in new ways to exploit my opponent's ranges, everything in my head, and not with external software, so I hope that if I play such a big volume of hands in this short period that will help me progress as a player, which always has been the way I progressed. (Coaching people and being forced to explain my thought process helped a ton too tho :P)

Day 12 update:
Hey guys, quick update, so far I'm on pace but it is scary because I'm having a lot of elbow/hand/rightthumb pain issues... im trying all sort of things hoping it stops but no luck so far, any recommendation please?
My intention was that first month I would grind like 13-15k games so I can be less stressed out in the second month... but it's not going to happen with this pain. I have to take it slow for now. Though, there is 100k$ money to win in the line, plus 80k-100k$EV, thats 200k$ to win in two months... so I have to do this even if my hands fall off and I die!! :D

Hotekys are 100 times more ergonomic than using a mouse imo.
You probably need some table ninja manager or something like that to help if you play a ton of tables with hotkeys. But sounds like it is worth and that you are seriously destroying body atm. That stuff is really serious dude. If the pain doesn't go away immediately after you stopped playing, you are on a path to chronic pain and a chronic injury.

Regarding the pain, like you suggested, just switch hand, i cant see any ergonomics helping it right now, it needs a break. or go for it till it drops :) just search for ergonomic mouse and you will find a bunch. order a few and see witch suits you best. there are also mouses with 12-18 buttons that you can custom for different actions.
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I bought like 10 things in amazon of things that people recommended lol, I will try everything and see if anything helps... might also just grind without mouse, only a hand keyboard and just wait for my turn every table.

The combination of a new user that hasn't participated on twoplustwo (unlike say, the Shaun Deeb prop thread) and the thread being primarily focused on prop betting led to the admin's decision I believe.
It was fine to repost the thread on 2p2 without prop betting going on, but he wanted more action on his challenge, so it found a home here. I'm OK posting it here because it's a pretty crazy spin and go challenge that I think the community is interested in seeing. I don't really have a view on the prop bets, it's a user's own risk to engage in prop betting. I thought about betting against myself, but perhaps it was the emotional negativity associated with volume props that made me choose not to (I lost a bit on SA1251 doing insane volume while still staying profitable a few years ago). Glad I did based on the last update!

Day 22 update:
Nothing suprising here.. feeling really terrible with my hand pains. Also my last games are going not so good. Dropped from almost 4-4.5% ev roi to 3.3% evroi. I have played a bit too bad these last 3-4days. I think its slightly higher in my PT4 bc spinlyzer missed a few hands but still pretty similar. Thank god there is 100k$ in line to win, which motivates me every day to keep doing it, and im still pushing hard every inch to do it!! Gogogo
Also I finally binked a 200x :) (I chopped with my opponent in the HU though - we're known friends), so im still a lot under EV, but better than nothing!

When you show 45% rake back, i assume this is rated to your current stars level and then buying rewards with coins you have gained?

I dont show any rakeback, it is put by default in spinlyzer but my rakeback is 30% since last year I wasnt SNE.
I play mostly 9 tables and ocasionally 12 tables. Very tiring :P
Sorry it was more of a general question. As you are playing on stars the only rake back is by using your starcoins to buy $$ correct?

Hey guys, here I am with another update.
I made a video update this time in both languages... I speak first in English, then same I explained I say in Spanish.. then english again.. after doing it I realized maybe this is not easy to follow for english speaking people but there is also spanish people following me. Next time I will try to sepparate in two videos if you dont like it. Just an Excel tip for you - when you shade a group of cells, Excel will show your total in the bottom bar of the screen. So at 4:15 of the video when you are trying to add in your head, you can see 2850 as the sum on the bottom of the screen.

This seems like a regular occurance how does this go with the bet "I will twitch/webcam my every single second I spend while grinding during the challange pointing at my nickname in the tables when starting a session"
I just want to say I have no money on this but have been following it since I found it a pretty sick bet...
** Yes, few people commented me last time Im not sure what happened but first 10mins of the session didnt make it to the stream, which is the photo you managed to take, after I realized I quickly reloaded twitch. Also Twitch has a stream delay of 1min up to 5mins so you could literally manage this picture every single session if you do it at the start of my session. I play like 8-9 sessions a day so yeah, lets say I streamed 99.5% of the time including those weird events the stream didnt pop up or I forgot first 5 mins. There is like 10 people always watching me for security reasons... im not so stupid to try to play without twitch/webcam when I know people is checking me out 24/7, if it happened its 100% accidental and very very unlikely.
Actually, there is a second step of security, which all of the high bettors have, giving them the chance to Skype call me 10 times during the challenge any time they want and im forced to show my webcam thru skype instantly. (Now he can check with the stream, if I start talking with him on skype, so its 100% fool-proof). If any high bettor doesnt have this you can contact me in skype. So obviously, there is 0 chance I can do anything fishy under these conditions. These terms were private but now that you brought up this It's worth mentioning.
To my perception, all bettors seem pretty happy in private with how transparent/secure I have been with the bet so far... so please dont get the wrong image here... I only live with a flatmate and we're lost in middle of Maltese village where no one is here, and he played like 180hrs this month (can give audits if you want), so its impossible he ever assisted me, anyway it would be retarded for me to attempt that when anyone can call me at any time... Im busting my ass and literally almost collapsing of so much grind.. its much harder than I thought, so please dont de-rail the situation with some twitch random issues! Thanks for bringing it up though, so I can explain in case anyone saw anything weird.

Day 38 Update
Hey guys. I cant really update daily as it would be both boring and counterproductive considering I am very very tight on schedule for the challenge.
Since last update It has been kinda "Meh" and just "ok". Not feeling super good or anything but im still managing to keep pace and so far im beating it. I am super tired and mentally weak but Its only 20 more days and im done, with 100k$ more in my pocket, so I will do it!

Hey guys, I dont feel like writing an update but here it is... lately its been horrible, hard to play good, too much hand pain, and its becoming incredibly hard to continue for me. Not my best moment, last 2 days I only played 120-150 games, so now I played 14209 games and should be at 14200 pace.... Also roi has lowered to 3.4% evroi, and I need 3% to win all propbets. Very stressful end of the challenge with little to no advantage!
