I flopped the best hand... I was in position... not many cards scared me on that dry board...was not the optimal spot for slowplay ?unfortunately turn and river were, both, the most unlucky cards that I could see...
Well you have a point, nothing is wrong with your line despite the bad runout. But ask yourself why do you slowplay instead of valuebetting? Is villain known to spew and make insane bluffs? Or you know that he overcommits weaker hands in 3bet pot? If he does, then its fine. But if you dont know that even in this situation you can make a fair assumption that villain has lots of Ax in his range. So with that in mind, raising flop or turn is also very good because it commits his TPGK on relatively safe board, while bad runouts are likely to kill an action.
i got not much sure reads on this villainin the same HU, in just a couple of spots, i've noticed his tendency, in raised pot, to barrell OOP all over 3 the streets against passive plays... but who knows ? maybe he got really an hand each time...this time at flop i was sure to have the best hand so i try to trap him...at river it was a crying fold... his range was polarized on Kx or better Ax... i beat only medium pairs like TT+ played in a terrible way...
I think calling the flop is the best play. Like OP stated, you almost certainly have the best hand on a very dry board. Readless its not easy to know what kind of hands he will call with if you raise his flop Cbet. On the turn its close between calling again, and raising. I think I prefer min raising his bet. I'm pretty sure you could shove in this spot and have the same result 99% of the time, but given its the microstakes I don't think min raising is bad. It makes it much harder for him to fold, thus giving you more chance of him committing his whole stack on the river.Given he has triple barreled a couple of times, I don't see him firing a 3rd barrel as a bluff very often on this board. You have called his 3 bet, and 2 barrels on an AXXK board. You obviously have a decent hand. So after calling his turn bet, I think you will see him fire his value hands on the river, and check/fold his air hands nearly all of the time. If he has air, then raising the turn is going to be no different to calling the turn in my opinion. He will fold either way with air. Min raising the turn gets him committed with his top pair hands, maybe mid PPs, maybe Kx. Also given his bet was under half pot, your min raise might induce a spazzy move with a bluff. Thats unlikely though. As played, I fold the river. Its pretty obvious by that point you are beaten. Remember that in the long run, you made a good play, and got very unlucky in this one hand where the only bad card came. Raising the turn is best though in my opinion.
