Full Tilt Poker has a new promotion, called Satellite Hero, where you get the chance to play against one of the pros, Gus Hansen. This promo also gives players the chance to get a $4,000 share in the MiniFTOPS XXIII entries, plus tournament tickets.

In order to be the winner and get the top prizes, you have to play in one of the scheduled satellite tournaments. Those that manage to cash in will receive both money and a Satellite Hero Freeroll ticket.

You start in the Hero Freeroll satellite with an amount of money which depends on the satellite tournaments at which you manage to cash in, between August 19^th and September 1^st, 2013.

While one qualifying cash in will get you a starting amount of 2,000, with 2 cash-ins you get 3,000, with 3-4 you get 4,000 and if you have at least 5 cash-ins at these tournaments, you get a starting stack of 5,000.

Satellite Hero Freeroll

The Satellite Hero Freeroll tournament starts on September 7^th, 2013, at 14:15 ET. A total of $3,000 worth of prizes is available for those that take part.

The winner gets a main event ticket for MiniFTOPS XXIII worth $75, plus the chance to play Heads-Up with Gus Hansen, for another batch of tickets worth $1,200. Players ranked 2^nd to 9^th get a main event ticket of $75 each, 10^th to 36^th get a $33 ticket, 37^th to 81^st get a $22 ticket and those placed from 82^nd to 126^th get a $11 ticket.

The Heads-Up match between Gun Hansen and the winner of the Satellite Hero Freeroll will begin at 16:00 ET, on September 8^th, with 5,000 in chips for the Hero Freeroll’s winner and 2,500 in chips for Gus. If Gus is defeated, the tickets will allow the winner to attent each MiniFTOPS XXIII event.

Registering for one of the Satellite Tournaments is easy. The player has to use the software provided by Full Tilt Poker, go to Lobby View, filter to see just the Tournament, and then Satellite.
