I've just learned about SAGE theory and I was wondering if Hero should fold here because according to SAGE, it's a fold. However, isn't it conventional wisdom to call here?
Blinds: 20/40
Hero: 2,465
Villain: 475
Button on Hero: A6os
Hero raises to 80, Villain shoves.
According to SAGE, Villain's R is (475/40) = 11.875
PI of HERO is (36)
Another question is, does the SAGE table extend beyond R of 7? (hope that wasn't a dumb question. If it is, my friend wanted to know not me)
Hi, Mohegansunriver.
SAGE does not apply to a hand that has been raised and then three-bet. It only applies to preflop all-ins where an all-in is the first action.

Ok. Thanks for clarifying it!
Definitely call here vs almost anybody. The rare exception is a player that only shoves an incredibly tight range. Usually, even players that have been tight 3 bettors all game will open up enough 10-12bb deep vs a minraise that you'll have to call this shove. If you're ever in doubt and confused, calling is almost certainly going to be the better play.
