Reasonable assumptions

Hey guys.  I'm fairly new to the game. Only about 2.5k games at the micro hypers on PS. I been playing a lot of micro Spin&Go lately, just cause. I played around 100 games one day, 2 tabling, and was up against this one villain for about 20 of those games. He was very aggressive 3 handed and raised close to, I have no actual numbers, 90% of the time in the SB when heads up. One particular hand was interesting.

  • Blinds 80
  • Hero BB 920(3c2d)
  • Villain SB 580

No raise pre.

Flop 8c2hKd . Hero checks. Villain checks. In my opinion, from what I had seen previous, he would raise any connected 8(including 810) and any 8 with paint pre flop. The only 8 he would have here that he wouldn't raise pre would be 84,85,86. I didn't put him on 82 or 83 as I had them as blockers. He doesn't have a K or a 2.

Turn is 8s. Hero checks and Villain bets 80. Now he def doesn't have an 8 and if he does have a 2 we're chopping because he doesn't have A2 because he didn't raise pre, so I call.

River is 6c. Hero checks and Villain bets 200. Again, from what I've seen, he is raising any connected 6 or any 6 with paint pre flop. He never has 62 in this spot. So he has either 63,64,69,610 maybe J6, maybe, or a ton of air. So I weight up and call. Villain shows 10c7c.

Now what I want to know is.. were my assumptions, with the reads I had, reasonable or do I just have a vivid imagination and got lucky. How does my thought process during the hand compare to others? Should I have reraised all in? According to Equilab I'm ahead 58.08% in this spot against any random hand. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Also, and this may be too rare/odd of a spot to even bother with but, in the BB 25-18bb deep if I get AA I'll always make it 2.5x to go and usually, again no numbers as no hud/poker tracker, I get a call. If any picture card comes on the flop, I check. Then face a 3/4 or pot bet which I reraise all in and get called with tptk etc. What I want to know is, is this a +EV play at the micros in the long term or is it strictly opponent dependent.

Thanks.

sounds like a well thought

sounds like a well thought out hand great call well done

for confirmation that you did the right thing watch pbogs vid "the information in front of your eyes" free vid, because to me it almost sounds like this is pbogs explaining why this a call so i say great read good call well done

as for AA at the micros u can play it how ever you want and get it in on most flops and its always ok, as far as what is best EV thats more player dependant on frequencies etc if they tight maybe limping it is better if they loose then raising slightly more is ok and getting it in on almost any flop is ok (well any flop is ok but occasionally a tight player it may be a bet fold if u have never seen them 3 bet not even top pair but that would be very rare i think)
