Nasty card on the turn

No Limit Holdem Tournament • 2 Players Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter BTNsnwb69945  BBHero2055  Effective Stacks: 24bb Blinds 20/40 Pre-Flop (60, 2 players) Hero is BB snwb69 raises to 80, Hero raises to 240, snwb69 calls 160 Flop (480, 2 players) Hero bets 240, snwb69 calls 240 Turn (960, 2 players) Hero checks, snwb69 bets 320, Not many reads on the villain I know that hes calling 3bets light and that he seems quite passive, is this a c/f? when bad players make these bets that commit themselves but they don't go all in do you think they usually have a stronger range?

He sure did commit himself on

He sure did commit himself on turn, and flop call most certainly puts all those scary 7x in his range. But at this depth vs light 3bet caller, and passive as you describe him, I'd rather shove TT pre. If you 3bet, like you did, I suppose you will very often be lost whenever overcard comes on a flop and villain calls your cbet. Sure, often you will be good if he is stationy, but its just a gross spot to be in vs that sort of player.

So at what point blinds wise

Thanks manSo at what point blinds wise against this sort of player would you start 3bet jammin instead of 3betting? Would you be 3betting like this only if you expected the guy to 4bet over you a lot?As played are you folding the turn?

Well, I would probably start

Well, I would probably start somewhere around 20-25BB deep (just like starting a hyperturbo match). But actually, even that deep 20-30bb, I might be inclined to 3bet to a ridiculous size, like 5x, basically, something that hints him that I'm commited and that I can shove flop if he decides to call passively. Might be good against fishy players. Against passive players I expect 4bets only with top of their range, but against anyone with maniacal tendencies I would decide wether to shove or 3bet based on their previous actions and my expectation. 3bet in general looks stronger then 3bet shove, so if I see a maniac calling a shove loosely (Kx, Qx, broadway stuff), I would be inclined to shove.Folding turn but not liking it, the only thing you hold is a bluffcatcher.
