Mjw006 Weekly TLB Winner

October 29th, 2011 - Matt "mjw006" Wakeman finished first in the PokerStars weekly tournament leader board (TLB). He will face Nuno Coelho on Saturday October 29th at 14:00 EST in a heads up match for $1,000.

Matt's leaderboard finish was largely a result of winning the $54 Turbo Knockout Tournament on Sunday for $9,800, a tournament with a field of 1,437 people. He also came in 16th in the Sunday Warmup. On Monday he came in 4th in the daily $50 rebuy and then proceeded to win the Daily $50, a combined day of $10,000. On Saturday mjw006 struck again, winning the daily $11 rebuy for $12,000 and breaking his personal best by beating a field of 2,532 players.

I think he got a free $1,000

I think he got a free $1,000 too, when I was leaving the match had started and the pro hadn't shown up.  Doesn't make for a good video, but $1,000 is quite nice compared to the 50-58% type expectation (which is what maybe $160 in EV tops?) he'd of had otherwise.Nice one Matt!
