Hi there manuntdfrvr I think

Hi there manuntdfrvr

I think you played the hand well and just got unlucky.

On the flop, checking back is rather weak. Although we have K-high, there will still be some fold-equity from Ax. Furthermore, our draw is so strong (overcard plus OESD) that we actually want to build a pot.

Against a small c/r, I don't think we can just call. This is because we wouldn't have the implied odds necessary (stacks are shallow) to call a second bet on the turn, which would be a real waste. Furthermore, if opponent actually has Qx (as was unfortunately the case) we have almost 50% equity. Almost any other hand will have <50% against us, and 10x could even find a fold. Any inferior draw (e.g. lower clubs) we have beaten right now due to the k-high, so we are more than happy to get all-in. On average there will also be lot of nonsence in a 7$-opponents range which will just have to fold.

Hope this helps.

your getting 5:1 vs his

your getting 5:1 vs his minraise on flop so just call given your odds and hope to hit turns. you have little to no fold equity on this texture and you should get paid off when you do hit anyway.

also try not to post results. this may mislead viewers to think of the hand in a more results orientated way.

I prefer checking back on the flop.

As played - just call his c/r and play your hand on later streets.
