HTHU 3.5s - K high vs checkraise

Readless.

What to do in this case? I dont like check back on flop, it will be hard to call his possible bet on turn... But when I do cbet, there will be a lot of check/raises. Maybe it is good idea to mini 3bet him on flop?

I like to go allin of the flop, I just give him a ton of air to make this move profitable.

Hello, when I put my key, and appears a start and I can not change, this is my key Product ID D9AA-6C30-93A3-9985-859D-2896-B3DE-4CF3. What can I do?

Tightfish's picture
Yeah, I dont think he can

Yeah, I dont think he can play 9x this way, so there is a lot of air, some 3x and FD..... probably its crap but what about mini3bet/fold? :D

AGT89's picture
Mmm looks like crap xDDD

Mmm looks like crap xDDD specially at this stack depth, if you min3bet/fold and he has a FD it's just a terrible mistake, dont you think?

Yeah, I think so :D Btw what

Yeah, I think so :D Btw what limit do you play and what is your ROI, if it isnt secret :)

AGT89's picture
It isn't secret ^^, I

It isn't secret ^^, I beated 10€ with 5%  EVROI and ROI, currently Im playing 20€ and I have 4.1% EV ROI (3.3% real) over 8k games. lately I have shooted 50€ but I run terrible, over 1k games 90% against strong regulars (battleling for the lobby) and ended up breakeven on winings and slightly winner on the EV.

There is a lot to learn still !

How about you?

Thats very nice :) But I

Thats very nice :)

But I showed this hand to 30s reg (good friend) and he adviced me just call villain´s check/raise, he dont see any point in shove, because villain rarely c/r Ax there, so by shove we will isolate ourselves against hands that already beats us.

AGT89's picture
For sure, thats is pretty

For sure, thats is pretty interesting, I mean I know thats zZzTILT game style and I know a lot of regs thinks like this, but that doesnt work to me, I play almost all my hands fast because I hate loosing value in a lot of spots (not here), on this spot what I hate is to be outdrawn despite the fact that if he is bluffing I dont see him firing a second barrel, and against 3x you have pretty good equity (30% I think) so overall Im not folding K high on such a board and stack depth, and to me if he is bluffing it's ok I take the pot rather than spew calling.

That's more my game style, but I understund the point of the regs, I just can tell you it doesnt work to me like many other spots where players sticking around just calling because his range is full of air, if I think he is full of air I like to 3bet bluff and as I play fast all my strong hands I can profitable re-bluff and clear the hand. Its another game style xD

This is my graph on 20€, I dont want to change my general strategy xD

Readless. Really should have

Readless.

Really should have some reads, we are on to the second blind level. Any extra information is valuable here? Does opponent raise their button? Has he donk-led the flop before? Is this is first c/r? How often has villain called your raise preflop?

I don't think we can answer your query without a little extra information.

Well, we can, but without

Well, we can, but without strong accuracy xDD

We are on the first blind

We are on the first blind level, its probably just second hand in match, if I had some useful reads I would write it.

So, any advices readless? :)

Ah you're right. I would just

Ah you're right.

I would just fold. I reckon it's fairly uncommon that we call here and it goes check-check to showdown. And it's much too early for a 3bet shove with just k-high. I don't play hypers though, so I'd be interested to hear other opinions.

Well,  I usually don't play

Well,

I usually don't play at these stakes (micro stakes for the moment), but readless, I would just fold too.

Villain might either be "lucky" with a 9, and probably you would not expect him to play a trip that way, or he could as well be bluffing the pot with still a hand that could bear another barrel, or he could try to fatten the pot for his max Flush draw with an A that would not be too bad at showdown.

Readless, too many open possibilities here, I would fold with K7off and move on to my next pair of Aces

(Again, I am a micro stakes player, so please let me know if my comments is stupid or inaccurate)

Cheers
