This week wasn't quite as profitable for the biggest winners ($80k+ for Colman last week), but only one player with open stats lost more than 5k (Sifosis with -5.4k). The top players remarkably continue to consistently win, even when facing each other some of the time. A few players also did not play (Siervos, Anthonyff) or were newly blocked this week ("0PIGGYBANK").

Biggest Winner - Alex "Lotte Lenya" Timman - $53,970

He played the most games, over 1200 this week (Qi was 2nd with just under 1,000). This high volume, despite only playing for 3 days this week.

We asked Alex about these long sessions. As you recall in weekly report 7, he talked about how playing high volume can really put him at a disdvantage. However, he also talked about being so down in EV was also a problem. After this last week, he talks some more about these longer sessions/grinded days:

Alex says, "I'm not sure what I was doing for awhile. Well, for one, I confused two hud stats and it had me playing way too loose. Another, I was running something like 200 buyins below EV in hypers and I think that caused me to play poorly." He added, "But now, something with confidence I guess, I feel really good. Everyone's ranges are completely clear to me right now." When asked if this continues, would he face any additional regulars, he said "Basically anyone except the 8 or 9 1k regs. I'm doing that now though, facing everyone else, including $500 regs, and doing really well."

Alex also added $11,000 from his Full Tilt results (H2olga). We're not counting those in official results, but we will keep you posted on those numbers when relevant.

2nd Place - Dan "mrgr33n13" Colman - $44,135

With only 680 games, Dan takes second place in our weekly report. Dan just keeps on rolling, each week making solid five figure profits. He's well on his way to his 1.25 million dollar goal for yearly profit. Everybody we talk to in these high stakes games feels he can make it. Most cite his motivation as a primary factor. Nobody thinks he will lose his hunger for constant improvement and volume. We'll keep on top of his results and the feelings of the high stakes community as the weeks go by.

3-th Place Five Figure Weekly Winners

Skaiwalkurrr finished in 3rd with $39,692 in only 505 games. Qihu00 finished 4th with $17,297 (997 games). Ankush "Pistons87" Mandavia finished with $10,487 profit in only 205 games!

Other Winners

Spacegravy finished with $6,030 profit in 428 games, mtvdeuem had $4,535 in only 240 games. V2the3 had just over $4,000 in profits over 682 games with a nice comeback at the end to finish in the black. Olivier "Adonis112" Busquet played on 118 games and had $3,913 in profit.

ChucknorrisQ finished up $3,482 with 597 games played. N00ki5 had $3,401 profits in 193 games and Zak "BOOMF" Wray had $3,376 profit in 313 games.

Players with a Down Week

Like last week, our tracked players did not fairly too poorly. MOCA CHOCA89 lost $673 in 887 games. If you include FPP value he likely made money this week, not bad for an off week!

Other down players this week include Eric2441989 (-1,061), max_domonox (-1,092), WhatIsICM (-2,346) and flippetyflop (-2,902). Sifosis had the worst week, but still only lost $5,431 over 648 games.
