Bluffing a random.

My apologies for being vague, I don't actually have the hand history saved for this, it's just been bugging me.

1st hand of a heads up hyper turbo, I'm dealt 6h 2c on the sb.

It's a junk hand, but I min raise it to get a feel for how my opponent will respond.

Opponent calls, and flop comes Ad 9d 3h

Opponent checks, so I make a 1/2 pot cbet, which opponent calls. Fairly standard 'guess I'll have to fold' situation.

Then the turn comes with J(c) and I figure that, as the jack adds an additional scare card for any paired 9s or 3s and doesn't complete the flush draw, I could probably get the guy to fold with a bluff, so I bet again (1/2 pot).

The river brings A(h) and  my opponent shoves, giving me no choice but to fold.

Anyway, I don't think I should have been taking such a bluffy line with such a rubbish hand against an opponent who I know literally nothing about. Thoughts?

Depending on the opponent it

Depending on the opponent it may be profitable to just open and c-bet any two cards, and it is unlikely to be a significant mistake. At nanostakes (eg. $3.50s) I definitely am not a fan of barelling turn, as most of what called flop is calling turn in my experience.

What stake was this at, may I ask?

You did find out something interesting in this hand though, in that villain took a very unusual line with his hand and overbet jammed river. If he had a house then that would be interesting, as he flatted flop and turn with either 2P or a set. This is valuable information. Obviously he could be bluffing, but it would be an odd point to bluff given you could easily call with trip aces or better (which you can have at the river). Either way, something to note and you certainly found out something in this hand.
