3bet hand Line check

No Limit Holdem Tournament • 2 Players Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter BBHero1585  BTN29FTW1415  Effective Stacks: 71bb Blinds 10/20 Pre-Flop (30, 2 players) Hero is BB 29FTW raises to 50, Hero raises to 140, 29FTW calls 90 Flop (280, 2 players) Hero bets 150, 29FTW calls 150 Turn (580, 2 players) Hero bets 290, 29FTW calls 290 River (1160, 2 players) Hero checks, 29FTW bets 835, Hero folds Final Pot: 1995 29FTW wins 1995 ( won +580 ) Hero lost -580The villain is a breakeven player no real reads on him yet. This is the first 3bet I had made in the game. On the turn I was not sure what sort of range to give him theres very little Tx now the board has paired and I don't think theres that much 9x generally in a winning/breakeven players 3bet calling range the first 3bet hand of the match. The bet is sort of as a bluff and for value, I think hes going to call any pps and possibly some showdown value hands if there is a bit of equity with them as I think villains often put you on air when the board pairs and you barrel. On the river I think he would check anything with showdown value so I'm either getting bluffed off my hand or I'm beaten if he bets, but I'm beaten more often then I am bluffed. What do you think of the play? are the assumptions I'm making about the villain ok without any reads or am I making too many?

i dislike ur sizing for

i dislike ur sizing for 3-betting, since ur hand doesnt play that well postflop, and also the fact that your OOP, gives u an extra incentive to 3-bet on the bigger side..if u were to 3-bet here, i wouldve made it something like 175-185, just to force a fold, since ur at a positional disadvantage, and card disadvantage vs ur IP opponent...Flop Line: board: 5(d)9(c)T(d)this board is extremely wet, since it hits alot of villains 3-bet flatting range. hands like 78,broadways,diamond flushdraws,67, are all in villains 3-bet flatting range IP, so i really dont see that many folds coming from villain on flop..I personally would check here on flop. Reasoning: 1) i would check here since villain has alot of playback range vs my c-bet on the flop. my check here on flop is for equity protection, since my second pair no kicker hand is vulnerable if in fact villain raises me here on flop. Even if i do bet/call flop, im still in the dark on the next 2-streets, thus leaving me fold on either turn/river...Flop: check/call for pot control, and equity protection, thus evaluating another street Turn line: i would bet turn here. my bet turn is clearly for value, since the TX double paired, thus making it less likely villain has the remaining T in his hand. my bet here is also for protection, if in fact villain has overcard, or SD hand range, where im charging value here on turn.. RIver: it comes down to villains continuance range, and how he plays his draws... if he's passive with his draws, then i could clearly see a flush jam here on river... idk, in a vacuum i wouldve folded... 1) my line is more small ball approach. since its hard to see villain jam river, if i varied my flop line, thus pot controlling on 3-streets vs villains likely hand range
