3 barrel shove from passive player

No Limit Holdem Tournament • 2 Players Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter BBHero1795  BTNMedved021205  Effective Stacks: 30bb Blinds 20/40 Pre-Flop (60, 2 players) Hero is BB Medved02 raises to 80, Hero calls 40 Flop (160, 2 players) Hero checks, Medved02 bets 80, Hero calls 80 Turn (320, 2 players) Hero checks, Medved02 bets 180, Hero calls 180 River (680, 2 players) Hero checks, Medved02 bets 865, Hero folds Final Pot: 1545 Medved02 wins 1545 ( won +340 ) Hero lost -340The villain was opening wide on the button but was only cbtting around 60% and only barreling around 35% I floated because hes giving up so much after cbetting here. On the river do you think this is the right fold vs a player that has been playing this way I was thinking his range was either a 4 a fullhouse or more likely a flush?

For what it's worth I'd

For what it's worth I'd probably just fold this preflop against an average player (but still call against a wide opening one like you described). I used to always call this but stopped based upon advice from the Mers e-book.On the flop I think standard is definitely a fold (having trouble floating these is a big part of why I don't like calling it preflop against most people), especially with his kind of low cbet percentage. Turn is standard IMO. I think the river fold is standard also. I think that the vast majority of players have a bluff here literally 0% of the time. Overbet bluff shoves on river just aren't very common in my experience.

Thanks

ThanksI would definatly normaly fold this hand preflop vs most players but I was calling because he was cbetting and barreling so little that I thought it would not be too hard to play, or do you think this is still better to just fold pre?

Folding pre 30bb deep (or

Folding pre 30bb deep (or 3betting to 200 if trigger happy). As played I would call flop with intent to steal on later streets if villain gives up.
