I think you made youre hand into a bluff here. The 9 isn't a scarecard for him, cause the board doesn't improve. Cause his bet on the turn he is kinda commited to the pot, and I see alot off people on these stakes that when they bet the turn here they are gonna call a shove so. I think the check is fine and with his bet on the turn I think a check/ call is here the best line to take.
