I have just moved from BossMedia to Ipoker, and i will be playing their 100$ HU SnGs.
October has been a bad month for me, and i decided to analyze my game. I will probably be posting some hands on a regular basis, and most of it will be standard spots, that i need to be clear about.
What hand converter should i use? (I use HEM)
Well, here is a hand from my first session. My opponent seems to play pretty standard, and not too agressive.
No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, 10/20 Blinds (2 handed)
Hero (SB) (t1440)
BB (t1560)
Preflop: Hero is SB with 9d, 10c
Hero bets t50, BB calls t40
Flop: (t120) 2c, 5d, 10h (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t80, BB raises t200
Total pot: t280
What is your reaction to a raise like this one?
If he doesn't seem aggressive then I think you should be flat calling. His preflop flat calling range probably doesn't have many worse tens in it.
I would probably fold here. Since he isn't too aggressive he must be having at least a better kicker. Would folding be a mistake?
