Example of why you take good notes.

Just played a guy again for the third time and made a good laydown because of the notes I had on the guy from before. Here are my notes (excuse messy typing and shorthand)  Seems weakfold alto to cbdonks river cbtiming tesllloves drawsdonks river with hand (this is the important one)does get raisey small stackshad nutflushdraw and no crgoes limp stabbbyIf I didn't have the note on him betting strong hands oop on river I would have had a much harder decision.    No Limit Holdem Tournament • 2 Players$10 + $0.50 Heads Up Sit & Go Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter SBHero1040 BBCapt Canada691960  Effective Stacks: 52bb Blinds 10/20 Pre-Flop (30, 2 players) Hero is SB Hero raises to 60, Capt Canada69 calls 40 Flop (120, 2 players) Capt Canada69 checks, Hero bets 80, Capt Canada69 calls 80 Turn (280, 2 players) Capt Canada69 checks, Hero bets 170, Capt Canada69 calls 170 River (620, 2 players) Capt Canada69 bets 620, Hero folds Final Pot: 1240

you'd need pretty special

you'd need pretty special reads to ever call here, imo

I agree with yaqh, especially

I agree with yaqh, especially with these reads. In general here there are a lot less hands the average opponent will bluff on this river, so many draws got there and stuff that didn't makes pairs that don't usually turn into bluffs this way.  Throw in the reads that basically tell you he is playing a lot of draws this way and value leads the river and this is a textbook solid top pair fold.
