Rumnchess Latest Downswing May Seal His Fate

March 17, 2011 With Only 5 days to go, Rumnchess suffered another setback last night, with an untimely downswing of about $6,000.  That leaves him at around $4,000 profit in his challenge thus far, well short of the $30,000 he needs to win the bet.

After being down over $9,000 at one point in this bet, Rumnchess had come back all the way to $10,000 in profit with just over 5 days remaining.  Rumnchess has compiled over 1,600 heads up matches in under three weeks during this bet, not counting his matches played at higher stakes which do not count towards the bet.  He has also played multi table tournaments throughout this challenge, adding to his rigorous volume.
