Heads Up SNG News Roundup

- According to an August 22nd PokerStrategy article, online poker room Party Poker plans to review and cut the rake in their lower level SNG games.  This is a welcomed move to heads up sng players, who have long critisized the above market rate rake present in Party Poker's under $100 buyin levels.  Party Poker's higher stakes games offer below market rake rates.  No word yet on when these changes might occur or to what extent the rake will be reduced.

- The first Barcelona Bootcamp in August has finally concluded.  Hosting coaches RBJ and FrankThomas8 conducted their camp from August 16th-22nd and reviews have been positive (1, 2).  Head over to camp host Palinca's blog to get a full report in the upcoming days.

- HokieGreg's Barcelona Bootcamp has officially begun.  WIth attendees including notable regulars valuelol, kierkegaard1 and xereles and a possible appearance by Chris Moneymaker, the camp is sure to be an interesting event.

- HokieGreg will be announcing full details for September's FastTrack forum access later this week.  He plans to take less full-access students, keep the read-only option around for another month and increase the cost.

- In case you missed it, HUSNG's recent interview with Olivier "livb112" Busquet continues to receive positive attention.  Olivier has been spending time playing high stakes heads up sngs in Toronto and participating in the newly created Epic Poker League.  He's also been warring with Siervos.
