Just over a week ago i received an email from a member of HUSNG.COM asking me to complete a 1000 match challenge to prove i can maintain a decent ROI before they can move forward with my application process . I have decided to accept this challenge and opportunity and will start it off tonight .
I will be using this blog as a way of keeping track of my progress and will be updating it most nights . My bankroll sits at $90 and i will start of with playing the $3.50 reg speeds till i reach £175 then i will progress playng the turbos only moving upto the $7 turbos when my roll reaches $350 .
I will be more than happy to chat with and discuss anything poker with anyone who shows interest in my blog and all good lucks are very welcome . I plan to take this very seriously as i see it as a great opportunity to get upto and hopefully beat some decent size stake levels .

TY Ryan for the good luck . Been watching some of your videos on the reg speeds .. defo some intresting and helpful stuff . Plan is to watch a video before every session to help wake the brain up and .I always feel i struggle to get through a full video as i get 15 mins in and i am choking to play

Not really a 25 buyin challenge .. I am just trying to achieve a decent ROI over the 1000 match sample . I will be trying to get upto the $7 level a quick as possible. If i stick to my bankroll plan then i feel that if i dont get accepted into the program after the 1000 matches , i should still have a decent size roll to continue playing , and if its variance that kills my challenge at least ill still have a roll incase i get a second chance .. ty for the gl
Only managed 12 reg speed matches last night at the $3.50s , 7 wins 5 losses . 4 of the matches i lost i actual got it in good with near even stacks so not to fussed . The main thing for me here is i never tilted like i have done before and just continue to play my best . I have promised to take my son out for the day but should hopefully be able to get in about 20 matches later on and hopefully run a wee bit better than last night TY gl .
Bankroll = $94.84
Again only managed to get in 12 matches tonight . started of well getting my KK in against AA and hitting a king on the turn then however next match i ran terrible won the next then ran bad again , this went on for a few games but managed to stay focused and ended the session on a 6 match win streak to finish the night with a profit of $17.23 . Kinda gutted about my volume today but did have a fun day out with the wee man and i do have all day tomorrow to myself to play so will defo be aiming to get in 25+ matches and some study .. Bankroll = $112.07 GL
20 x $3.50 regs speeds today for a $15.54 profit . Could have probably done better , kinda lost a couple of matches to bad play , At least i can go over the HHs and make sure i don't make the same mistakes again .. Next update will be after play on friday night , back at work tomorrow but will be trying to get in as much games in a possible when i get home . Going to keep playing the $3.50 reg speeds up till friday and try get bankroll upto at least 25 buyins for the $7s . If succesful i will take a shot at the $7 reg speeds .. till then GL BANKROLL = $127.61
HI ! just got back there from a few days break with the family and have decided to alter my challenge
Bankroll is now at $238.00 , My new challenge is to play 1000 games at the $7 turbos on pokerstars . I will be starting tomorrow night. I will be staying at the $7 level until i reach my 1000 match target .... GL

first of all good luck with your challenge , second i dont know if its the correct thread to ask this but is this requirement for everyone who never played husng? also 1000 games refer to 7$ stakes only or any stake? like 1.50$ for example.
You should defo drop the guys an email and they will be more than happy to give you an answer as i am not 100% . I originally planned to start my challenge at the $3.50s but then decided to change it to the $7 .. GL to you and let me know how you get on
Been an absolute nightmare this week .. first off my mate managed to screw a 42 mm drywall right through my finger nail
Also been doing some long shifts meaning not much poker .. Things are looking better now .. Managed to get some money together to upgrade my Holdem manager subscription and i basically have the full weekend to myself to get in plenty turbos ..
Traveling to and from work by bus has gave me some time to watch some videos and get some study in . Watched all of mjw006s vids and thought they were great , got loads from them and also managed to get 1/2 way through mers ebook. So feeling pumped now and cant wait to get some games in .. will update later tonight .. Going to watch Cog Dis vid on paying with a hud to help me get set up and take it from there .. GL
Well everything was looking good , managed to get holdem manager up and running and ended up getting the house to myself for most of the night . Things started off ok then i started to feel awful , resulting in me being sick in the toilet pan for most off the night , apparently theres a 24 hour sickness bug doing its rounds . I did however manage to force myself to play but it ended up more of a chore than anything so ill call it a day go rest and hopefully catch a break and feel better tomorrow .

Worst morning session ever .. Still feel terrible and have ran even worse ... I couldnt even bring myself to look over the hand histories they were that shocking .
Bankroll now at $188.36 going to grind the $3.50 4 mans till i get it back upto $245 then ill get back to the $7 turbos hopefully run a bit better than today .

Ended last night watching all 4 of mjw006's videos on beating the mid stakes . Out of every husng strategy n coaching i have read or watched these are by far the best. This guy is basically giving you a blueprint on how to construct your game . They were definitely worth the near 4 hours it took to watch them . I plan to watch these vids again and again constantly taking notes as i do so, till i have all this stuff and what i can add to it burned into my brain ..
Actually woke up this morning feeling confident and ready to play , however the good lady managed to talk me into spending the day with her and the kids so not much games today . Did however manage a small profit .. I pan to get in as much games as possible when i get in from work mon to thurs trying to bulk up my bankroll. Then hopefully come friday i can get back to grinding the $7 turbos ,,

But the graph might me thinking; what if it happened earlier? If you check out my blog, you will see my graph before this shitty Friday. I was up about 1k (including rakeback). Therefore the Friday, just put my ROI in a normal region. If I dropped the $650 before I went up like $1000, I would had been forced to move down to $7 and dunno if I would had recovered from it so easily.

Only managed 10 matches tonight which will be the trend up till friday night as ive been asked to work gruelling 12 hour shifts to get this tech college we are building finished .All in all ill be out the house for 14hrs each day , tea breaks and bus journeys will be perfect time to get some study in though .
Watched Skates's 2 videos on board texture today that i again highly recommend and read some chapters of mers ebook on the bus home .
Probably wont be updating again till fri but will be trying to get as much games in as possible till then getting ready to attack the $7 turbos on fri night

How do you approach this yourself ? GL
Either I read some content or I check upon my charts if everything is ready to go. I do not like to do HH analysis before I play. If I do a HH analysis, I tear the hands apart and that can easily take 30 to 60 mintues for a single hand.

Well another s**t day . Dropped 35 bucks over 26 matches Tbh i probably played as bad as i ran ... Going to call it a day now as i cant even stomach another game lol .. will be playing the $3.50s till friday hopefully boosting the bankroll thats been slashed a bit over the last 3 days ... Had high hopes and confidence for this weekend but thats poker i guess .. Still confident i can maintain a decent ROI over time .. gona go now and plug some leeks and will update again on thurs or fri night.
