Free bankrolls are basically what they sound like: no deposit required funds given to players by poker rooms.
These free bankrolls usually come with a play through requirement (a certain amount of rake paid until you can cashout your money).
I will have at least one of these up this month, but hopefully a 2nd one. I will target rooms that spread fairly raked games (5% range for non hyper turbos, 3% range tops for hyper turbo mid level buyins), have solid volume to offer low and mid stakes players, and rooms that offer good terms for the free bankrolls.
On that last point, for heads up sit and gos, we want players to be able to start ideally with 15 or more buyins for the lowest fairly raked level of play. That means if there is a $5 buyin and that is the lowest buyin rake around 5% rake, we would want to look for a $75 or more starting bankroll for players (ideally $100+). I myself remember starting out with $200 or so, and dropping about 20 buyins at the $5s before I started winning. With the education available today, a dedicated player stands a decent chance if they start with 20 or more buyins. With multiple free bankroll offers available, we can effectively get you to 40-50 buyins (or even more), and that will really give you a great chance at getting started.
I don't want to flood the forum with too many offers, we need to keep this offer attractive for poker rooms so that they continue to want to offer it to our community.
