Wow, what a sick finish.

I had all these updates for like 2.5 hours during my final games and I misclicked on it and I hit one of the sidebar links.  When I hit back it was gone.

So anyways, I was running really hot for about 25-30 games towards the end of this, then I got to about 52-37 or so and just started running like crap.

I was 55-44 going into my last game, meaning we push if I lose and if I win I take the bet down.

Good game to Sandeep, it was a pretty rollercoaster bet.  Him starting out with the lead, then busting, looking like I had a huge edge, then he got the loan, came back strong.  He finished about as weakly as I did though, we definitely whimpered out a bit towards the end.  My last 4 games were atrociously lame, mostly card dead type situations vs calling stations.

Morning Afterthoughts

Well, that was quite a finish.

I can't imagine how bad I'd of felt if I lost the last game, not even for myself, but for Skates, who got 1.2k to win 3.4k on this bet after day 1 or 2 when Sandeep was a little ahead in the bet.

Overall, it was a fun bet.  The last day, game selecting, that sucked.  I also ran worse when I game selected, though that was just variance and nothing to think twice about.  But for all the "bumhunters" out there, I'm not sure how you do it.  I'd kill myself doing that everyday.  With built in software I guess it would be ok, because you could do other things while waiting for fish.

The only change in strategy that I had for this bet (until the end when I game selected because I had a lot of time left to complete) was that I would wait until a lobby was open to register.  Normally I just insta reg after somebody gets a game, and about 95% of the time I'm waiting and a bad player will sit.  However, at certain times of the day there are just too many regular players on insta registering just like myself, so that might have posed a problem if I had insta registered throughout this bet.  I think I sat at the same time with maybe 3 or 4 other regulars throughout the bet, which was not bad at all.

If I did this bet again and it was for a much larger sum of money, I think the best strategy would be to set my alarm at like midnight and just play from midnight to 5am every night.  Those games are super soft and there are only a few Euro regs on it seems (in the $115s at least).

Also thanks to Scottybcash for not sitting me in these 100 games.  I stipulated with Sandeep that any games against him would not count during this bet, since he likes to sit me and it would definitely lower my expectation over 100 games.
