Interesting day...

Sandeep got somebody to give him $500 on $450 for him, so he's back in action.  He played a lot of games today, and the bet is pretty close at the moment:

After 67 games I am down $5 and after 65 games he is up $225 (hence the blog title).  We'll see how his results are by morning (he usually plays early AM).

I went 3-2 today, all five games against fairly decent winners, two of which were of the "sit same time" variety.  Sunday nights are bad for $115 fish action, but I woke up late after that Cotto bloodbath and visited my grandparents for the first time in a few months.  They took my girlfriend and I out for a nice dinner, I had a NY Strip that was actually dry aged for 30 days, it was very good.

I had to gather a few signatures with another tenant in the building then got caught up in the Pats Colts game.  The 4th down call for the Pats was pretty nuts, I thought they were just trying to drive them offsides until I realized they had no timeouts.  Pretty ballsy call, I'm not sure if it was even correct, but I'd believe it if somebody of authority properly analyzed it and said so.  I think it was > 50% that they actually got the first down, but it was a bad spot regardless and they had no timeout to challenge.  If they had called it a first down and the Colt inevitably challenged, I think it would've been held up more often than not, but either way, what a bold gamble and super close result.  The rest was kind of an afterthought to me, I mean who really thought Manning wasn't going to score again after that first easy completion?  The Patriots D just looked worn down and Manning was clicking well with the offense.

I'll get at the games again tomorrow.  I have a meeting with the Alderman's office and a few HHs to review, but most of my day is free and there's no temptation to watch MNF, as the Browns (sorry Brendan) are playing.  The Bulls are on though, but I can miss that if I'm playing well and getting games vs fish.

Winding down, could be a tight finish to this prop bet, we shall see.
