A pretty poor day, to put it mildly. I'm 18-18 right now. Sandeep is 12-5.
I may take tomorrow off, I have the court hearing and it may be a very busy day. Sandeep agreed in advance that I could take Thursday off if I don't play any games on that day and then my deadline would be extended one day until Wednesday.
I made one really poor play today, a husng.com member played me and I made a bad turn bet/call when I should have checked. I then asked about a prior hand to get an idea how I played it and he was kind enough just to send the whole HH over. I felt better after checking it out, though the bet/call play was still bad.
Today was mostly just a lot of run bad in big pots, in all parts of the game. I ran decently bad in the end game AIPF type stuff, but very badly in early to middle game big pots. I finished off the night with two wins against the same player, a winner that I declined after the first win and he sat me again, but I ran incredibly well in those two to close and put me at even overall on this bet, which is not a particularly good place to be.
Our settlement offer in the court case was rejected, though it seems very likely that the rejection underscores some major faults in the opposing party, so we'll see how it plays out in court tomorrow. I'll make a detailed post about all of this legal junk I've had to deal with in the upcoming days/weeks (regarding the building that I live in), after it is resolved.
If tomorrow goes well in court it's likely I'll have time to play the day and should get in another 15-20 games without a problem. Sandeep's results aside (which are important in this prop obviously), I feel I'll need to start running good soon. All I can do is continue to play my best and see what happens. I've made some mistakes, but fewer than I normally do in a 36 game sample and I've enjoyed playing the games and the overall bet so far, despite being disappointed with the results.
I'll update again tomorrow, if I don't end up playing I'll at least update Sandeep's results for everybody.
