So, I've dropped approximately 75k in the last two days running not-so-good at high-stakes everything. Reflecting on the swings and fulfilling Rypac's wish of posting some nasty graphs, here are some highlights from my poker career.
First, yesterday's cash games:

But, to go with that, I've had some very good cash days:

That one is actually kind of sick because I ran 19k below at one point, then ended 5k above.
For hyper turbos, I had a really great week last week:

Obviously, the red line doesn't mean that much. I just ran good in every way possible. I'd love to post my -34k day in the $1785 hypers, but HEM didn't import them properly (used the wrong structure). If someone could PM me a way to fix that I would be happy to post it for you.
For HUSNGs, it's harder to find a good day or bad day, so here is most of my $230s from this year:

I think there are quite a few 20-30BI swings in there despite a pretty solid ROI, so yea, swings happen. I should note that the red-line isn't the best for that because HEM doesn't log 4-man games properly and I'm too lazy to fix it.
This is perhaps my most gruesome graph, and is made up of all of my $1130 games since August:

The red-line is correct for that graph since it's only 2-handed games. Clearly I'm not supposed to be making good bank, and that's because of games 200-400 where I was playing heybude, who destroyed me. While I do think he ran extremely well situationally, I also think he had a solid edge on me, and I should have quit him sooner. Still, 45k or 40BI below EV is pretty nuts if you ask me.
I think there are some nasty PLO graphs in some of my previous posts if anyone really wants to track them down.
So what can you take from this? Don't let swings phase you. If you're on a downswing, you should spend time reevaluating your edge, but if you can identify your edge, don't worry about it, you'll do alright.
