Hello guys. I just wanted to keep you abreast of what I've been doing lately. First, I'm going to start tagging my blog posts with "Risk Oriented" instead of Shark Feed. This is because all my blogs are cross-posted from http://www.riskoriented.com with permission from the management here at HUSNG.com. Because of the way Google's robot indexes pages, I post everything at riskoriented.com at least 48 hours before I post it on HUSNG.com. There's also some content that isn't applicable to HU SNG that never makes it over.
Right now, riskoriented.com is in the process of hiring new poker writers. Compensation works like this: If you write an article on RiskOriented, and while viewing your article, a player clicks on an advertisement, you get 100% of the commission from the advert. Right now, we're only doing rakeback ads, but this may change. If anyone here wants to start out as a poker writer, you might as well get your feet wet here. Just send me a PM and we'll talk.
Risk Oriented isn't going to be just a blog for long. I'm moving towards making it the premier Internet Poker magazine, with monthly content like interviews, videos, strategy, user response, and everything else you'd expect from a magazine. My goal is to make it standard reading each month for all of the poker regulars on the internet. We'll discuss the legislation aspects, what's happening in BBV and in Vegas, and try to feature awesome short videos along the lines of "A Day In The Life of Skilled_Sox."
But that's not all. I'm somewhere in the neighborhood of 2 weeks away from releasing www.headsupleague.com. It's going to be a big ladder of free-to-play heads-up games, with nice prizes. It will probably play like a large multi-table HU tournament, except you won't be eliminated for losing. Play and win games to increase your ranking, play and lose and your ranking decreases, sort of like chess rankings. Should be a new and exciting way to experience heads-up poker outside of the $$ grind, and I hope everyone is eager to try it out.
