My name is (Robert) Jon Ford and I play as Croixdawg on Pokerstars and FullTilt.  I’ve been playing poker for about 5 years now and am offering coaching players who want to reach the mid to high heads-up level. 

I'll tell you a little bit about me before I get into the coaching, to give you an idea of how I got to where I am today.

Like many, I started the game just playing home games with friends.  When I began college, some my friends started playing online.  I followed suit and deposited over $1,500 online before I started winning, mainly playing $20-50 9 man sngs.  I discovered heads-up poker and finally found something at which I was consistent.  By sophomore year I had built a $100,000 bankroll, but was playing $5,000 matches, not following roll management and nearly went busto.

I decided to take poker more seriously and grinded up from the $100 husngs into what I play today, $500-1000 level games.  To this day I very rarely play higher than $1000 online based on the discipline I learned years ago.  I also play up to 25-50 live cash and I play up to 10k buy-in MTTs.  My live tournament winnings total over $900,000 and can be found here:

I would like to become more involved in helping players jump from the low and middle stakes to the middle and higher stakes husngs.  I only plan on booking a few students so that each student will have my full attention and focus throughout our time together.  Before beginning our sessions, we can work out a plan of action that we are both comfortable and satisfied with; including live sweats, hand history reviews and theory talk.  I will also give students my contact information so that we can follow up and discuss hands after our session has ended.  With my deep experience in both regular and turbo speed husngs on both PokerStars and FullTilt, I feel I have a lot to offer prospective students.

My rates are $350 per hour.  To get a full experience, I recommend booking multiple sessions so that there are no gaps or questions left unanswered.
