Zoom cash player looking to move to spins

Fed up by zoom and cash. Playing for more than 3 years now and its getting less profitable, and increasingly boring. Since I dont have the basic knowledge of HU turbos, sit n gos, or spins,  I would like to know where to start, what books to read, videos to watch in order to get the basic theory of tease forms of poker? Need a new challenge but dont whant to waste time and money learning by trial and error. I appreciate any advice that you can give me, thx.

SPINS

Hi , I'm playing SPINS right now. I find it more fun than Hypers and also the chance to bink a big spin!

I wanted to go from rec to being a decent rec! so I bought Coffeeyay's Spin Pack. It's pricey but his knowledge has helped me tremendously. There are parts where it's going over my head right now but I'm listening to it over and over to get it all!

Before I was an ABC player and this pack has opened my eyes to how much more I can do!

My 2 cents.

Getting experience /

Getting experience / proficient at the HU portion of the games is going to be very beneficial. I would invest time studying HU and would advocate getting some HUSNG volume in too.

The free vids section is very good here. If you are looking to invest in a pack then pbogz pack is a great introduction and will even be of benefit to a lot of intermediate players. The zzztilt and phl500 is a little more comprehensive and the price reflects this.

Coffees spin pack has an hour's hu section also btw

As far as books go will Tipton exploitative hunl books are canonical and probably the most comprehensive theory books for any format of the game. they will certainly improve self learning / understanding theory behind concepts. But maybe a lot more advanced than necessary for meeting the rec pool in spins.

But if you enjoy theory you'll love the books.

Worth noting that spins are becoming more reg heavy and reg play will become more important, so that theory won't go to waste you climb the stakes

Hi Noob Saibot   I'm about to

Hi Noob Saibot

I'm about to make the same change. I assume you have plenty of experience now, what do you think were the most important concepts to get to grips with moving from cash?

I played some 9 max turbos about 10 years ago but haven't done any ICM since. I assume this is the best starting point?
