In this video xSCWx plays a $6 turbo speed HUSNG on Black Chip Poker. He discusses adapting to opponents, 3betting light, responding to 3bets, and preflop hand ranges.

In the Ks6c hand you make a bluff check/raise on a JJ5r board. Villain bets 80 into a pot of 140 and you raise to 190, what are your reasons for making it so small? It seems like you're going to comment on it, but then an interesting hand comes up and you drop it.
In a hyper turbo match I'm always opening with a min-raise. I may have opened a little bigger at some point but after studying short stack play a lot more I think it is definitely optimal. The thing is, if you are opening wide (which you probably should be from your button) your opponent can profitably shove all-in with a lot of hands over your bet. If you bet bigger then their all-in becomes even more profitable. In a hyper turbo match, ignoring some extreme exceptions like a rare read, I think you are shallow enough that you should always be opening the minimum.

Hi xSCWx,
Thanks for the videos, I find them really helpful.
Q: You open 3x then 2.5x the 2x throughout the game as the levels rise. Would you apply the same betting strategy in a Hyper Turbo match ?
Look forwards to watching the rest of your work over the next days.
Go forth and CRUSH !
