I would not worry about the quality of players, as long as you're below $50 it's really about your own play, game selection isn't as important for the most part (aside from some usage of the rematch button, just don't rematch the best players you face over and over if you don't win and can't handle those streaks and you'll be fine).

Stick to a site that has 5% rake or lower on the lower level buyins.  What is the rake on PokerStars for those levels?  The $5 level I thought was raked at .20-.25, if so that is fairly raked.

Check out Betmost (iPoker) and Redbet (IPN), we have excellent deals on our deals of the month page, if the rake is 4-5% there for those levels they can be an even better choice (more rewards, slightly softer lower stakes, much softer though slower action at higher levels).

I was looking at iPoker and at 3$ they rake half less than ongame. So they rake half less overall at husng. Haven't check Redbet yet.

IPN & ipoker have 5% for all games

afaik Ongame has 10% for lowstakes up to $50 and 8% for higher

Ongame has a lot of fishs, i know this because i grinded $22 in PokerLoco.

But 10% is very bad because if you get a deal on iPoker, u can do high cash outs, only with deal...
