Skates: PS, I'm Alive And Betting - Vid08

Skates plays a $1130 turbo HUSNG on his Poker Stars username, psimalive. Here, he plays kbp00, a frequent villain at these stakes he has some history with.
Skates' note: This isn't that basic of a video... some pretty deep concepts come into play like tailoring your open size for the sake of a 4bet dynamic, profitable lines vs. someone with a super high cbet frequency, why 20-25BB is so different from 15-20BB, and one method for handling someone who plays close to jam/fold from 15-20BB.

15 min video???

Easy Slatey, we've had a video a day for the last 5-6 days and will continue to for awhile.
Skates often posts short videos and often posts more than one at once.

I Really REALLY enjoyed this match. You talked out a lot of deep thinking strategy here and the action was fun to watch.

Nice vid, very nice thought process. I would like to play already the limits where you can valuebet A high on a 777 board, because noone smoothcalls pairs.
Trankuility says:
Definitely digging the deeper thought processes in this vid. Good stuff dude!

hey dude, love the vids!
had a query about the KK hand.
you min raised and he flatted when he was 20bb deep (15/30) , the flop came 3TA, you checked behind, turn was a 7 which brought a second diamond and he leads out 90 you flat, river is 9d he bets 210 and you flat again to find he rivered his flush with the 64dd.
just wondering if you think maybe you could eliminate a weak ace (or any ace for that matter) from his range since at 20bb deep he is ussually shipping it in preflop given you are opening such a wide range and AX doesnt play great postflop oop?

Great video! Enjoyed the higher level of thinking.
05.30 @ 99 hand - why did you choose to bet 440 into 1240 OTT instead of jamming, giving him 26,2% to call?If he has a FD + 3 additional outs (26%) it is correct for him to call, and you will find yourself in a very tough spot on almost any river.
Isn't any diamond, A, K, 7, 5 very hard to play OTR? IMO, it just set us up for a river mistake.
Is your read that kbp00 always jam or fold OTT, and therefore you leave a little room for him to be semibluffjamming a <25%eq hand?
Love to hear your thoughts.
