Sa1251 faces off against former student and $100 regular yellowfin! in this two-tabling hyper turbo video. He discusses possible adjustments to make against a player that knows and incorporates similar techniques to his own game.
2:00 immediately after you mention that you excpect him to open 80-85% you go ahead and flat A3o, why is that?
13:00 i really think flatting the flop is just overcomplicating this spot, probably coming from deeper stack experiences. a hand like JT with a heart has 30%, so folding out his equity share or getting it in has a very decent expectation and it is hard to beat that by flatting and then trying to outplay him with 60% psb behind. min3bet is also pretty senseless, it is an effective all in and you won't be fooling anyone into thinking that you have a m3b-folding range at this stack depth. i also really hate both of your turn lines, i believe he should be jamming all better hands in his range and you should be expecting him to do so and hence jam the turn yourself once he checks. i expect his range to be weighted towards flop stabs that don't like the turncard, and folding those out is a pretty huge deal in expectation compared to checking back.
16:45 you minraise-fold 87o after stating that you dislike limping AA because it is perceived as superstrong. under those circumstances i like limping those middling type hands alot more than mr-folding. you also militate against having an extended limping range in general. i believe that the shallower stacks get, the more important becomes incorporating a limping range in your game against regs, for 15bbs you will never crush any reg by solely mr and jamming.
i hope this doesn't come off as an attack, i think it's great that my opinions differ to such an extent, hopefully i will learn something by reading your responses :)
