Good beginner video, with solid play from your student!Overall I agree with your thought process, but the video did rise an interesting spot.

Q8o @ 21.00. Hero limps. Flop comes T83r - Hero bets 25 (40) and gets chraised to 80. You bring up the idea of 3betting here. Is this the right Villian to do this against? Up until this point he has been passive, even in limped pots and also when we have showed weakness. There is no signs of him adjusting. Therefore I do believe our fold equity is very low and that his range is weigted towards toppair or better.

Lets say his range consists of;10% air (3 out hands) - 2 combos30% draws (10 out hands) - J9 & 97 - 6 combos.60% made hands (75% equity against us) - 12 combos (Tx (6 combos), T8 (4 combos), stronger (2 combos))

We have ≈ 35% equity against this range. Isn't chraising spewy here, if we fold out his air, get a call and a free card from his draws and 2/3 of his Tx (≈55% of remaining combos), and get 5bet or called and lead into OTT from the rest (45% of remaining combos).

Combined with the fact that we might get checked to OTT anyway if he has a draw or a weaker Tx, giving his play on the 76KssJ turn where he leaded and ch/folded river 4 @ 27.00. Even though these situations differ in nature, I think it can be used as a generel assumption about his play (but it is also an argument for him giving us a free card OTT). Furthermore we don't know if his player is capable to chback strong hands in the blinds, but this is probably taking our passive read to far. Overall I don't think that we have enough basis of him ch-raising air enough or giving us freecards enough to make 4betting better then flatting and reevaluate turn.

Hope to hear your or others thougts.
