wow so so so many interestings spots here primo. do you only play like this when you know villain's a thinking player? nice stuff to add to my arsenal =)

PrimordialAA says:

Yes of course, I would only play like this vs someone I knew was a thinking player. BBU asked me to go into the match without any reads on the time we have worked together or what I know about him, and treat him like I would any $33 small % winning player, so this is exactly what I would do vs most $33 marginal winners who I thought were thoughtful (and of course I kept picking up the aggression once I saw he would react how he did and not spazz out / play back so much)

I like this video a lot because, especially the part where you put BBU in difficult spots.

I've tried overbetting the river a few times when I had the feeling the villain was somewhat weak in that hand...and it works great. Often a half-pot or 3/4 potsized bet will not make him fold 2nd pair (lowstakes), but an overbet when an overcard drops on the river seems to work great against all but super-loose guys.

excellent video, a lot of interesting spots and meta considerations. I really enjoy the format - a 5 game match against a thinking player is just so much more challenging than a 5 game session against random mediocre players.

really good video, picked up loads of stuff from this. In particular the spots where you turned hands into bluffs once bbu's range became more transparent. Thanks alot

I rated this video 5 Stars.

I'm looking forward to Pt. 2.

This video was valuable for discussions on Leveling and Re-Leveling, and Light 3Betting and Bluff-Checkraising situations.
