hi, you mention using SAGE for under 7BB- is this the same thing as NASH?
thanks
PrimordialAA says:
NASH is what SAGE was built upon, NASH is by far the better solution, and is what you should always turn on, however some people prefer an easy system like SAGE, which is def. still useful and alot better than what most people have going for them, I think I go over NASH in the Advance Concepts section of this, but im not positive. but yes, Nash will always be a better alternative than SAGE, but SAGE is better than neither,

Thank you so much for the intermediate concepts vid & presentation you did.
I found it really imformative & board textures/check raising/c-betting is an area of my game which I am trying to improve at.
Thanks

Are you going to offer coaching Primo?
I am playing at low stakes atm 5-10s, and still only break even at best (just had a really bad swing where every good hand got beat), not quite sure where I am going wrong!
Some games I play a real A game and murder players easily, I think I have some trouble adapting to peoples playing types. Willing to pay a decent hourly rate

I do offer coaching, all of my coaching info and contact info can be found at primocoaching.blogspot.com (which is also linked off my blog primordialaa.blogspot.com), and there will be an exact mirror of my coaching page up on this site pretty soon. Thanks for your interest :)

Used this to produce a nice little sheet i could print out at home, with stuff button style/ oop style to give me a feel for if the villain is T/L-A/P , record comments about showdowns etc, then start adjusting.
I still have leaks but no doubting this has improved my style. I was always ok against TAGs but struggled with the other styles
Still struggled with one player who was limping 80% of buttons and calling/3betting 80% of mine, he was definitely aggressive PF
PrimordialAA says:
just keep at it, against players like that you might want to widen your 4bet-shoving range a bit as effective stacks decrease, and also mix in flatting some monsters (JJ+) to some of his 3bets. And if he is being very aggro post flop than maybe lower your cbet frequency, but it seems like he was mostly aggro pre-flop if I got it right?

Greetings Primo,
I watched the video in its entirety, pausing several times and rewinding important points. Also, I took copius notes until you got to the hand texture spot at the end (not that it's unimportant). I absolutely loved how you constructed your video using a systematic arrangement, which made it easier to follow. I highly encourage my cohorts (newbies) to watch this video as it lays down a foundation for reacting to opponents in a rational manner using the four basic player profiles.
What I've learned should help facilitate a deeper understanding of the more advanced videos I plan to watch (or watch again). Also, I really enjoyed your analysis of flop textures and how you can exploit certain opponents. While I already had exposure to these ideas, you helped bring some order to my otherwise disorganized ideas. And I liked the explanation of SAGE, which I have in my favorites for easy access.
Thank you,
Jeffrey (very appreciative of your dedication to producing high quality and carefully planned videos)

Thanks for making such a structured video opposed to the impromptus. It seems like you made these powerpoint ones for a brick&mortar classrooms LOL. I honestly think all of your videos of this format are the best on the site (for my learning style anyway)

Sweet video, and again you get my 5-Star rating.
Well-organzied and many to-the-point illustrations of the material presented.
This is the second time I watched this video. I took detailed notes and I am sure this will be helping my game as much as any other video I've seen so far.
