mjw006 Does a PokerStars Leakfinder Heads Up Poker Video

MJW does a $100 turbo speed leakfinder for Kanitey, the week 1 winner of a leakfinder competition. He focuses on calculating ranges properly from one street to the next. He also discusses proper bet sizings in various situations with a focal point on the river. There are also a pair of games played against a regular, TaediumVitae.

3:00 - Q7s- Wouldn't it be best to get your value on the turn in this hand, as ranges are more undefined, and villain has equity, but if we bet the river he's either got 100% equity or 0% equity?

5:00 - A9o - What's your plan if we get check-raised on this flop? Are you flatting to let him barrel off, or 3bet-getting it in?

23:30 - Do you think it'd be good for villain to check-raise this turn card if we fired the second barrel?

25:40 - If we get check-raised, would you ever 3bet bluff small, perhaps just click it back, as it's a decent board for villain to c/r, and he can't really have much, but we can rep any pocket pair + a lot more 2x/4x then he can?

Yeah I think arguments can be made for both really. I agree that we will get more equty from FD's ott but in saying that we fold out a lot of PP's and 5x/3x hands. Given that I feel like we have to discount some % of his FD combos (I feel in general readlesswe should assign some % to c/r), I think that the line taken should be fine. I think its going to be a super minimal difference either way.

Flat and eval turn.

It's be a great spot. Thing is, most people won't at this stage unless they're really good and creative. Even though this guy is a reg I wouldn't expect he was either of those things at that stage.

Was first c/r iirc, I think what you're suggesting here would be severe FPS, esp vs that sizing. He can have a bunch of FD's and PP's on that board that won't be folding and is pretty much precisely what he's repping. If I was going to continue I'd prefer flat and look stronger overall, but folding is without doubt the best option.

@20:00 9To hand in 3bet pot on 789r board. Is that really a shove?

Would villain really cbet a hand like AQ/AK here that big?To me, when villain bets this big pre and post-flop (and you might also consider preflop and postflop timing which are pretty confident indicating a strong hand), it just looks like villain wants to get it in asap and not wants to give you a turn card cheap like thathe has a made hand and the bord is scary to him. Also take in consideration that the flop hit your perceived calling range pretty decent

Thus i think villains cbet-range is highly weighted towards PPs that either have an overpair, overpair+draw or set and your basically putting in another 1250 to win a 2780 pot total which mean you have around 45% odds. Against a 99-aa range you have 38,5% and against 99-jj your even doing horrible.

So depending on how you break down villains range i think you can even opt for a fold here despite having TP+oesd or do you really disagree (...and i love to here your reasoning and breakdown of ranges, reads, timing)?

Only if i do think villain is cbetting here with a wider range than made hands and choosing these betsizes and bet/timing then I think a jam would be okay.
