Hi there manuntdfrvrTurn

Hi there manuntdfrvr

Turn should be bet for protection/value. We can beat any 3x, ace- or king-high, worse 7x and low pocket pairs. So our hand is good a very large percentage of the time. Additionally, it's quite likely that opponent has 2 overcards to the 7, giving him 12% to draw out on the river (albeit in this case he only had one). And we more-or-less have to bluff-catch the river with a hand as strong as K7, so the reverse implied odds are considerable.

The river call is fine, but much better to bet the turn and check the river. I would have folded on the river for an overbet, anything pot or less, we have to call, IMHO.

I'd also make a careful mental note of his call with 10-high on the flop. Clearly, there is no folding equity whatsoever vs this player.

Hope this helps.

i think as played is fine as

i think as played is fine as long as in your mind your intention was to turn your hand into a bluff catcher for the river. most villains wont have an ace in the BB and just call they would 3 bet an ace so i dont think many aces in villains range you could get value from a 3x but that depends if villain was more of a calling station

generally i would bet turn but i think its fine to turn hand into a bluff catcher as well as u did

i think a turn bet is fine.

i think a turn bet is fine. it´s for value on the one hand and on the other hand with a turn bet you kind of buy the showdown at your price. if i check the turn, i wouldn´t want to feel obliged to bluff catch if villain pots the river. as already said: bet turn and check back river if checked to.

cheers

Bet turn for value. As played

Bet turn for value.

As played - fold river. He has all of Qx and Ax in his range.
