The comments have made me read this like a bad infomercial where I feel like I'm being forced into buying something! Maybe it cause it's a free one or something? not sure
Anyway, having said that I have watched, enjoyed the vid and look forward to more.
1:14 the 2nd hand you talk about 3b jamming with J2-J5 vs someone opening 80%+. I'm just wondering what kind of sample size you would like before doing this? ie 2nd game? 3rd game??
would you ever consider doing this during the first level of this game?
Would you just do this like 20-25bb or if he is opening that much would you also do this shorter eff stacks at higher blind levels in this game? as ranges obv change as blinds increase
Hope that makes sense
Thanks

JTS has a lot of friends Freak, though undoubtedly this was a solid video.
Valuelol says:
yes very solid video indeed Jan, especially I like your explainations after/during each hands.i Think you pointed out the major leaks pretty fast and I think thats the goal of a Leakfinder, you cant explain any concept or any range in the limited time ofc.
As i told you I dislike the cbet with Q6o hand on 78T board a lot, although opinions go to both sides.
gg !!
Jensserrr says:
I also wont cbet Q6 v often at those kinda boards.
It obv hits his range pretty hand, but futhermore it's pretty easy to put him of Ax/Kx/6x or whatever on later streets.
emotionzor says:
if your gonna keep doing videos i highly CRY for you moderators make it premium at least...
he never plays lower than 100s anyway so its pointless
please?
yes i make logic here.
RyPac13 says:
He's played 125 games below $100 this month!
The plan right now would be to have him make a mixture of standard and premium content. A lot of our newer series have videos in both, as well, so you might see something like videos 1-3 at standard and videos 4-5 at premium, etc.
There could be some merit in rotating a series, something like video 1 standard, video 2 premium, video 3 standard, video 4 premium, video 5 standard, maybe we'll try that out.
Do expect to see anything above $100 in the premium section from him and anything below $100 in the standard. I'm not sure where $100 will go, that's our "can go either way" buyin level on average, depending on the videos, opponents, author and what we need to add.
Once in a blue moon you might see a premium video below $100 (example, when I played bcm11 and Skates joined in on audio review, we played the match at the $10 level but it was a premium video) or a standard video at $200 (fydor did a $200 free video and $200 standard I think).
If any of you guys ever have any questions on that, just shoot me an email, message here or just post in the forums. Happy to explain all the decisions on videos, tiers, etc. Much like making videos, explaining the thought process behind these moves forces me to make sure the thought process is solid, or make sure I'm totally comfortable with the decisions being made, and the more I do that the better the decisions tend to be.
emotionzor says:
I understand that, but if you are releasing standard content the only reason shouldnt be just the buy in, but the value of the info inside, thats my whole point. I think no one cares if its a 0.50$ or a 5k$ if the info hes giving away is way above the price of a standard membership/population are getting.
Im obviously happy if he can help out the lower players with standard membership videos but i think you took what i want to mean by now anyway
And no its not i have this retarded syndrome of protecting the games its just i think it would be unfair :p
Tyty, sorry for the mess.

ty its just a solid vid i guess, i do have some friends but i dont think many people will say it is a bad vid, when it just isnt imo. i would never consider rejam bluffing entire stacks 25bbs deep in the first game or second game even, i mean u can quickly gather reads on player type etc but gathering reads on how many percentage he is opening and exact ranges takes a good while
its like you say yourself, ranges change all the time during diff stack depths and its very crucial to be aware of this in STs.
obviously youd only need like 40 hands of someone opening 100% but 200 hands of someone opening 80-85% for example. (the number of hands is just pulled outta thin air here, there is no clear cutoff to establish a read.) Your second question is somewhat paradoxal I believe
You go and say would you also do this later on the game if he remains opening this much, as ranges change with diff stack depths. I dont think this is necessairly true what you are saying ;If he remains opening the same % at shorter stacks, his opening range obviously hasnt changed. So im assuming ur trying to hint at the fact that he might minraise/call lighter? then again we need more data to talk correctly about this, we need to figure out what his calling range looks like and what it has widened too and then do the maths again :D Its a very advanced concept and hard to explain in a single post let alone on the side in a 15 min beginner video. But I simply mentioned it because the hard working players who are here to really learn and get better (like yourself obviously)
would start to think a bit already about rejamming ranges. Hope that answers ur Q's

Thanks for answering.
I could of phased the last question a bit better or just left out the last part to be a bit more clearer what I was gettiing at! But your in-depth response covered what I was trying to get at anyway, so thanks again for that. I appreciate it.

11.00 [97 on 865] Do you never overbet here to 120 and jam turn?
12.15 You talk about villain rejaming. At the start of a game, readless, when do you start limping instead of raising T8 type hands? How aggro does villain need to be for you to be sure that he is pushing light and not running good?
If he then raise our first limp and we have T8o, do you call or fold if he bets 60/80? What do you do if he raise our next limp too?
13.15 [Board is Q33] You talked about reshipping AK if we we’re in villain shoes. When would you reship AK IP if villain cr you.
16.15 [Q6 on T87] Would you ever consider making a smaller CB here since he is so tight / fit or fold?
19.15 [Q3 with 10bb] Why not 2x vs a NIT?
21.15 [AQ with 9bb] I see your reasoning on pushing. What hands would you 2x against him?
JackTheShipper says:
hey thx for the questions
i first off want to say, i don't have the video here with me, so I'm not sure about all the hands at the moment, but at first glance i can remember quite a bit so ill respond out of memory (its usually pretty good)
no i don't think over betting is good, I'm not sure perhaps it is ok at 30s but it is going to be very very transparent that ur never folding and fold out wayyy too much.
12.15 id generally raise T8o always in the beginning of the game, because when we always limp hands like these, our minraising range becomes obviously strong and unbalanced.
Its hard to put an exact number on it but id most likely start limping this if villain, over multiple games has had a 3betting %of over 30%.
and when i would limp against an aggro villain like this id most likely limp/call if he raised to t60
if it were to be our first limp tho, id probably fold to a raise, with T8s id deffo try and see a flop if he made it t60 tho.
13.15 if there was a very aggro dynamic on paired boards.
16.15 Yes i have been thinking about this very hard last few days, and i think a smaller cbet or not a cbet might be better then betting half pot here!
(really happy you asked this question)
19.15 i dont precisely remember this hand
21.15 against that villain i wouldn't 2x any hands 9bb and especially shorter, just because i don't think we are ever inducing from him, so i MIGHT minraise some junky hands like 68o that we shouldn't be open jamming but in general i will be jamming nash against him below 8bbs for sure.
With AQo here, since we don't induce anything from villain, and if he just flats are gonna be in a tough spot when we miss the flop and probably gonna cbet/call and be behind a whole ton, or have weird stack sizes when he flats again, its just hard to play correct with a hand that doesn't necessarily flop well, i also doubt we are gonna get much action vs a fish who doesn't think A is not in his range and won't play back against us on A hi flops, so basically i think there is more value in just open jamming here vs this guy then minraise/calling (the hands he jams he will call a jam with either way, and post flop will be hard to play)
so hands i would minraise here would be hands that play easily post flop and make our life easy but are not quite good enough to jam (but this is very dynamic dependent imo) this might be one of these extreme situations where minraising 57s at 9bbs might be better then folding it or jamming it.
(ill rematch the video and correct what isn't right in the answers i just made here asap, but wanted to give u initial thoughts on it already ^^)

Sweet. Thanks for the fast replay.
Overbetting So you don't think its a good idea to overbet semi drawy boards? I know that it might be exploitable but so could a 3/4 bet. I assume that players that sit me at the $60 ST are in general fish so Im not to worried about being exploitive, but they might understand it contentiously? If you could make an estimation, how much more do you think they would fold out to an overbet instead of an 3/4?
Limping Ya I agree that we should open T8 type hands against unknowns, but if villain 3B alot i start limping medium strength hands, but usually villains that 3B light also raise limps light so I think its hard to give them any respect so I might call to light. Whats your borderline for limp/calling to a 60 bet?
Underbetting Whats your thought on underbetting? Exploitive? What boards / villains would you do that against?
ENG vs TAG Really liked your explanation on this. Wouldnt you limp the 75s hand and 2x light (Qx, Kx, onegappers, suited hands)
