K2o, we can limp pre

K2o, we can consider a limp pre readless. here we have reads that villain is agressive and loose. he doesnt fold flops and raises often. we definately do not want to be raising pre. positional advantage is greatly reduced in a minr pot this deep as the SPR is lowered.

on this flop it is a clear check - readless it is a check imo. it is a low fold equity board, even readless. it a texture that will be x/raised often, even readless. here we have reads that villain doesnt fold and raises often.

we have marginal showdown and a backdoor draw. that last thing we want is to be c/raised.

K7o wp. agree maybe slighly over half pot - make a note that you can thin v/bet against this villain in similar spots

A8o - dont mind going bigger, with the intention of jamming blank turns. very tricky spot i agree. once you go smaller jamming this turn is likely bad. you fold out so many hands you beat and even draws are priced out now.

KQo - think we too much showdown to bluff turn. hard to bluff recs when the board pairs. an interesting way to think about this particular hand and your overall range is this:

we do want to have a x/f range on this river. as KQo beats other K high, and hands like 89s, turned FD's it a great hand to have in our x/folding range as it sometimes wins at showdown when villain checks. a hand like 95o might be a better bluffing hand as it performs worse than KQo when x/folded as it never wins at showdown. polarise, in other words.

K6s - can cbet bigger. check turn and realise all your equity for free. there are so many good rivers for us.

A2o - wp. the K is a terrible card to bluff when we check turn as Kx is big part of villains floating range [when we barrel turns we expect to fold out some Kx so the King becomes a better barrlelling card as it devalues some flopped weak pairs and isnt as big a part of his river starting distribution]

JTo wp pre. flop is close. prefer checking and using position we will get bluffing opportunities later in the hand. as played you can barrel small to get rid of stubborn AK, KQ, AQ etc.

TT, very close to a check. we do benefit from protection, but its not a board we get a great deal of value from. bet turn bigger. you can go pretty big imo v recs. their calling range wont change too much. 7x and 4x may fold, but we make up for that v combo draws and Kx

river we can block bet small to get value from 2pr and Kx, and we can comfortably fold to a raise.

Thanks for the detailed

Thanks for the detailed response again. Helping me a great deal.

On the first hand where you say limping K2o 15.3 BB vs a player who does not fold fold and raises often. How would we balanced that range, would we be doing that with Qx, Jx hands aswell? If i was say 20BB deep could i limp there aswell or as my SPR is higher i can MR then.

I need to start playing lines where i can realize my equity for free aswell.

On the A2o hand you say [when we barrel turns we expect to fold out some Kx so the King becomes a better barrlelling card as it devalues some flopped weak pairs and isnt as big a part of his river starting distribution]. Does this mean that if the the K hit on the turn it is a better barrelling card for me?

Dont worry about balance

Dont worry about balance unless villain is capable of exploiting you.

No, sorry i havent explained myself clearly re the K river.

Because Khigh forms a decent % of villains flop floating range, when we check turn he will arrive at the river with a good chunk of Kx. Therefore iit is a bad card to bluff at. If on the other hand we had barrelled turn we can expect to fold out a lot of those Kx floats. So when we bet turn the K river becomes a really good barrelling card as it devalues flopped pairs and we expected to fold out his Kx on the turn.

K turns can be bad card to barrel, as people have lots of Kx in flatting ranges, and they are often correctly floating K high on many textures
