HSR weekly report #23: Olivier "Adonis112" Busquet is unstoppable again – 24.4% ROI!
October 7, 2012 - 08:34
Sifosis set a new games-per-week record. He played an incredible amount, 2,069 husngs. How much time do you think it took to him to do that?
Another interesting thing this week - the biggest loss we tracked was less than $10,000. Those who are following weekly reports regularly know that this is very unusual.
To sum it up, we tracked stats from 19 players: 9 profited, 8 had losses and 2 were break-even. Winners all-together combined for about $165,000, losers for only ~$34,000.
Serkules quickly and confidently increases his gap between SkaiWalkurrr. This time he won $32,744 in 1,296 games and is overall up $696,859.
His main rivals: 2. SkaiWalkurrr $569,818 3. “0Piggybank” $433,928 4. Sifosis $312,182
Only 12 weeks left until the end of this year. Will Skai or someone else be able to surprise us and overtake Serkules?
Serkules's weekly graph
Olivier "Adonis112" Busquet won huge!
Talking about surprises, Adonis112 last performances could be viewed as such.
It all started two weeks ago with WCOOP Heads-Up High Roller title. He defeated Helio TYF in the last battle and won over $224,000. That week he added $49,390 more by grinding husng high stakes games. Before this run Adonis112 had only a break-even year.
Last week he became biggest winner again gaining $25,280 after 256 games.
This week he won the most for the third time: $61,254 after only 156 games! His average stake was $1,326, so he won 46 buy-ins. It’s a 24.4% ROI. Enviable upswing!
After this performance - for the first time this year - he showed up in 2012 rankings. Now he is at twelve place with +$178,256. The most interesting part is that his WCOOP win is not included in the total profit leaderboard. If it was, then he would be in 4th place - immediately after 0piggy - with $402,256.
I am not sure why SharkScope doesn't include his WCOOP title to 2012 profit chart, but I will make sure to remind you about it, when it will be needed.
Alex “Lotte Lenya” Timman
Lotte Lenya had his third profitable week in a row. This time he won $25,722 after 391 games. His average buy-in was $780 (6% ROI).
Rachid Ben "SkaiWalkurrr" Cherif
After first 100 games he was up for almost $28,000, but finished with $11,931. He played 228 games in total. The last 3 weeks were hard for Rachid - he lost approximately $55,000. That is why this result could be promising.
Matej "mtvdeuem" Cepon won $13,929 after 59 games only. His average buy-in was $1,829; spacegravy won $6,285 after 640 games; qihu00 won $3,951 after 583 games; Ryan "Moca Choca89" O'Donnell won $3,878 after 276 games; JMPRODIGY won $3,721 after 101 games.
This week there were no major losses.
Fishenzon had the biggest downswing: $9,509 after 564 games. Things could have gone differently because he was up for $16,555 after first 349 games. But it is how it is.
Eric2441989 lost $7,562 after 321 games. Viktor “Isildur1” Blom and anthonyff lost $6,299 and $4,486 after 60 and 76 games accordingly. Siervos was up for $7,500 in first 30 games, but ended up losing $2,120 after 188. Ankush "pistons87' Mandavia lost $1,309 after 87 games only. WhatIsICM had good sample of 766 but also lost a bit - $1,049. caaaamel lost $1,009 after 171 games.
Break-even was two players:
1) Martin “0Piggybank” Finger lost $926 after 368 games;
2) Sifosis put lots of hours into play and had enormous sample of 2,069 games. His graph was quite variable, when you consider that his average buy-in was only $168. During first 534 games he lost – about 40 his buy-ins - $6,700. He managed to recover in the other 550 games, gaining a profit of ~$2,000. After 400 more – that was 1455 in total - he drastically moved down again, making his overall result -$5,500. Finally he ended his undulated journey by losing only $676.
